After reading the review, I found it odd that they docked the game 20%. His main gripe was the additional content. And he even admitted the content was fun, so it's not like it was a complete negative. Why dock the game 20% though, I can't imagine it being that much of a problem.

I bet if there was no additional content the game it would have been docked for being a handheld game with no additional content to justify the console price and release. Damned if you do, da...

Although it doesn't specifically say "A Hideo Kojima game", on the back of MGS4 it says produced by Hideo Kojima.

Even at $60, you are getting to play 3 uncharted campaigns remastered. That's $20 per game. How exactly is that top price. Now had they charged $60 per game and removed MP (only 2/3 had MP) I would have understood your frustration, but $60 for three excellent single player experiences is well worth it, especially for those that never played an uncharted game (which I assume is the primary demographic).

Funding exclusives for your platform is different than paying for exclusivity for an already developed game. Not saying Microsoft does one or the other, but there is nothing wrong with funding exclusive games (be it AAA or indie).

Sometimes it's better to be silent and thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

A few comments above, flex Luger states the game is a remake because of the redone assets. I remember reading a lot of similar comments when gears UE was announced and they stated all the changes being done. A lot of people on here were saying so much was being done that it's more of a remake than a remaster. Even in uncharted collection articles people were comparing the two, stating that what's being done to gears exceeds what being done to uncharted a...

That's my point. Everyone was saying this was a remake, and yet rookie monster just labelled the game as a HD remaster (when I'm sure he has called it a remake before). His comment was implying their expectations were too high because it is a HD remaster. Seems like your comment should have been directed towards rookie monster instead.

I thought it wasn't a mere remaster, I thought it was a remake? All of a sudden it's just a HD remaster?

EDIT: I recall people saying uncharted collections was just a remaster, that Gears UE was on a whole other level with pretty much every aspect of the game redone and a bunch of stuff added.

You know what else is interesting. How Xbox users understand how options are a good thing, especially when it comes to EA access. They like to mention how gamers should have options, which I personally agree with, gamers should have options. But these same people see no issue with a mandatory, always online ecosystem (Xbox One policy prior to the 180). As if having the OPTION to be offline is a bad thing.

Maybe is not so much people don't wa...

I don't think he was substituting quantity for quality. He is saying if you have all three platforms then there is a higher probability of you getting a "quality" title every month.

Not only have Microsoft convinced Xbox fanatics that releasing their games 2 months out of the year of preferable, but they also now have convinced them that the focus of E3 is for games coming out within years end. If 2015 E3 should focus on 2015 releases, when should games coming out within the first 7 months of 2016 be showcased? During 2016 E3?

At this point most gamers are aware of the games released on both platforms and the games releasing on both platforms. So the fact that PS4 continues to outsell Xbox One, it's a safe assumption more people are interested in PS4s game library, regardless of what's releasing a single holiday season on Xbox One. So yes, it's about the games, and it just so happens that the games are a strong factor in what people buy.

The three lights on the top left side of the machine turn red, which is probably why they chose red for the top left side of the controller (dpad and triggers).

What was that about being uninformed?

I think there is a big distinction you are missing. Most PC gamers use Steam. So tell me, how will your saves, purchases, friends, etc be handled if you use Steam? Unless Microsoft allows cross play with any PC user, I don't think their cross play feature will be as big of a deal as a lot of people are making it out to be. I can see if being a bigger deal for their first party titles, but not so much third party titles.

So you are going to be streaming those games from your Xbox one to your PC or laptop WITHIN THE SAME HOUSE. Why not just play them on the TV your Xbox One is connected to?

Personally, playing a game at 1080p in the house I can already play the game at 1080p isn't as nice as being able to play a game at 1080p at the house and 540p/720p/1080i (between Vita and Pstv) away from the house.

BTW, how are you surprised Square st...

The cross buy would most likely be limited to games published by Microsoft. I doubt most publishers are willing to give away the PC versions of their games for free.

And will cross play work with PC gamers that use Steam?

EDIT: @ the commentator

How will 1080p/60fps streaming work if the game itself doesn't meet those standards? Having the ability to stream 1080/60 is kind of moot if the games themselves...

Didn't Naughty Dog state they did more than just bump resolution and frame rate? Which would all three games remastered, not ports. I'm not sure why Xbox fanatics keeps spreading nonsense. Gears UE may be a remake, but as far as I'm aware the other Gears games they are including aren't getting touched at all. They are merely the BC versions of the games.

You can't be that dense. Of course it's fraud. By definition fraud is a deliberate attempt at deception. You think any retailer would have accepted the return if they had admitted to buying the console at another retailer? Or if they had said it was a sale or trade in rather than a return (they may have accepted it but for a lesser value than MSRP)? These people deliberately deceived the retailers into thinking the original purchase was done there. Just be...

Seems like some people in this comment section want this game.

You sound like someone who got their heart broken, and is just saying things as a defense mechanism.

"I'm sorry, I just don't want to be around you" - random person

"Well, nobody wants you anyway!" - you (as you cry on the inside while your heart fragments into a million pieces).
