This guy Straya named just about every Xbox game released and announced. But deliberately left out like over 30 PS exclusives (between released and announced), and you still have people that don't think his comment isn't amongst the most bias, deluded comment. I've seen both PS fan boys and Xbox fan boys make some absurd comments. But never like this guys.
How can anyone agree with such a misinformed comment. And I'm not talking about his opinions, which he is...
@ gangsta red
Two things:
1) less money does not equal bad game.
2) your comment was absolutely not objective. The fact that you are basing your assumption on your opinion of the prior two games shows bias. We can't make any objective assertions about the game because it has yet to release. That would be like me talking about the shortcomings of your next comment, before you even make it.
@ gangsta red
How can you objectively speak negatively about a game, the actual game, when it hasn't released yet? Speaking about the shortcomings of a released game is a completely different scenario, and yet you try and relate the two.
They are not asking for more money to complete the game. They are allowing people to fund the original stretch goals that were not met. The game will be made with the original funds regardless.
@ tiqila
He said the game has been reviewed over 100 times MORE than the other games, which indicates the total would be the sum of the two values (i.e. game A has been reviewed 117 times and Until dawn has been reviewed 100 more times).
Had he said the game has over 100 times the reviews as the other games, or the game has been reviewed 100 times as much as the other games, that would indicate the two values are multiplied by each other.

@ don't hate
No games competing with it? Are you dense? This game came out 8/25, less than a week before MGSV. How could you say this game released with no other real game competing with it. That comment alone just shows how uninformed you are.
I wasn't aware a rating of 80 was considered poor reception, especially for an extremely niche, unorthodox game (in the AAA area).
There is no circle jerk, there is legitimate reasoning why som...
This is like a boxer losing 9 rounds of a fight, and talking crap because he won 3 rounds.
"The competition cant stack up against me in rounds 9,10, and 11". How silly does that sound when you lose the actual fight consisting of 12 rounds?
Microsofts lineup is very good this holiday, but it's silly of their executives to make comments like this. Especially when their competition hasn't shown their hand yet. They are just making things worse ...
Sure, it can be. But is it? I've yet to see Kinect be utilized in any meaningful way in games. What something can be isn't the same as what something is. Even after 5 years and 2 iterations, it's still yet to be utilized in core gaming. With all things considered, the fact that it's good with tech demos and testing purposes is irrelevant to gamers looking to actually use it for gaming. So maybe it's not hate that triumphs over facts, but rather disappointment.
@ death
I don't think anyone is taking shots at indie games, its more like taking shots at the people who think console gaming is dead in lieu of mobile phone gaming. I'm sure you can see the difference between a console/PC indie game that core gamers get "estatic" about and a 200MB mobile game, hopefully. Or perhaps you just took this opportunity to troll.
How do you know all 54,813 people are very happy?
@ septic
Or you can thank the developers whose feedback was given. Or thank Mark Cerny for his vision of what the PS4 should be.
@ Septic
Yep, indeed they have. Microsoft no longer have the easier to develop console, and they no longer have the early advantage with multi platform games. So it seems those roles have reversed.
They also still don't have more exclusive games than the competition, and they also don't have the more diverse library. So I guess not everything reversed.
Sounds like a lack of thought in your own comment.
@ Higgins
Yeah, you keep hoping that. While Nintendo works within the constraints that they set themselves, you can continue to play last gen quality titles on their platform.
If the NX proves to be more powerful than the PS4/XB1, we'll see how polished their games are when they are not so far behind the curve in graphic fidelity. If they can provide games that are polished beyond the competition while also making games that meets or exceeds the technical...
@ Higgins
Nintendo games are less "broken" because there is far less to "break" in them. They aren't nearly as demanding as other games, they don't have the same level of detail, same physics calculations, same lighting calculations, etc. Nintendo games are polished to perfection because they are easier to perfect, so to speak. When Nintendo starts pushing their games to the same technical fidelity as everyone else, then we can make fair comparison...

Although Griever clearly exaggerated in regards to the frequency of their releases, he has a point. Forza is pretty much a yearly franchise, so despite them being good games, they don't have the same impact as games that actually win GOTY. And Straya is correct in stating its very unlikely a racer would win GOTY since its not a genre as prevelant as others.
And what I think he meant by "there are much better games out there" is in regar...
Its not that people don't want Nintendo to succeed, it's just not as simple as your comment made it out to be. You think publishers are just going to make games for the NX just because it's powerful? With blind faith that the user base will be there? Especially considering Nintendos current relationship with third parties and current install base. You really think gamers are just going to buy the NX hoping for third party support? After two consecutive consoles of terrible third p...
@ strike package bravo
I'll believe you that the Xbox One is at 18 million, if you believe me that the PS4 is at 40 million. Deal?
The problem is Nintendo is going to need to do something to entice third parties to release games on their platform. By the time it's released the PS4 and Xbox One install base will be even larger, and the power difference may not be the deciding factor in porting games to the NX. Third parties may not be willing to invest money into making NX versions of their games unless they feel the install base is large enough for them to make profits, gamers may be reluctant to get the NX unless th...
So what you are saying is that IGN gave TMCC a 9 despite a negative being broken multiplayer (pretty big aspect of the game being broken). And yet they dock Tearaway from a 9.3 to a 7.6 because the additional content, although good, brought some pacing issues. Does that seem logical? Minor dock for broken MP in a MP centric game, yet Tearaway gets brought down to 7.6 for what?
@ septic
A backhanded compliment, how typical.
Sony still has two more conferences. It would be funny if they announced GT7 as a 2016 release title at Paris (considering racing is big in Europe). Wonder if that happens, would you use bbq sauce or honey mustard to enhance the taste of your foot, or would your taste buds prefer them bare.
BTW, Driveclub is, at the very least, a decent racer.
