It was the danger close and one man army perk that ruin the game for me. Unlimited grenade launchers with large blast radius.
Microsoft made that statement like a year ago. They haven't released official Xbox One numbers in ages, so how do you know the Xbox One is still outpacing the Xbox 360?
@ rookie monster
I don't recall 720p being an issue for Xbox One games to you. I recall seeing comments along the lines of "resolution doesn't matter", "it's still the same game", etc. So why does it disappoint you now for remote play?
@ kribwalker
I wasn't aware Sony advertised a complete VR experience for $399. I thought they advertised the PSVR unit for $399, and A few days later, a PSVR bundle for $499. Sony could have announced the PSVR bundle out the door for $499, but one has to assume they learned from Microsofts idiotic mistake of trying to get people to buy things they don't need (like an Xbox One console and mandatory Kinect for $500). I rather like the fact that they announced a PSVR onl...

There is no WiiU game rated higher than TLoU Remastered on PS4
But to be honest there is no point in comparing PS4 and WiiU games as they are rated on different standards. I've never heard of a Mario game getting rated on story or character development. If Uncharted 4 has a terrible story and poor character development, it will get points deducted. If a Mario game has no story and poor character development, it's ok as long as it's fun t...

Don't confuse console release time frames with discontinuing production. Even if manufacturers release new consoles, they do not cease production of the prior almost immediately. Four years is a very short production run for a console, the only other console that had a production that short was the XBOX (and that was Japan only, the US had a longer production run). Even the N64 and GameCube were in production for 6 years (even if the cycle was 5 years).

@ death
I think that's his point. The fact that Xbox One cut back on horsepower is the reason that there are people like you, who focus on 'or', while there are people like him who focus on 'and'.
In other words, while you ask questions like "would you want higher quality textures OR higher resolution?" He asks questions like "wouldn't you want higher quality textures AND higher resolution?"
You say...
@ axecution
I'm sorry, have you played crackdown 3? How about we wait for it to release, or at least have some type of playable demo or beta before we confirm that it's experience was definitely (and substantially) enhanced by the cloud.
@ bleedsoe9mm
Are you referring to Remedy or Lionhead Studio? Since, you know, both haven't made a game since 2010.
@ subaruwrx
I'm not referring directly about the studio closure. I'm referring to the damage control people are using to try and rationilze the decision. Whether Microsoft owns them is irrelevant to my point, which is Lionhead is getting bashed by gamers for not releasing a game since 2010, and yet these same people will call Remedy the best studio despite them not releasing a game since 2010.
People are hilarious. People will knock Lionhead because they haven't made anything since Fable 3 in 2010, and yet praise Remedy as the second coming even though they haven't produce anything since Alan Wake in 2010. Both Fable 3 and Alan Wake are around the same metacritic score, so it's a stretch to call one mediocre and not the other. Not to mention before Alan Wake, Remedy's last game was Max Payne in 2003, while Lionhead made Fable in 2004 and Fable 2 in 2008.

Gamers are so fickle. A gamer will tell you graphical fidelity is a non factor as long as the game is fun. They will denounce other gamers that want to get the most for their money, even if it's better visual fidelity and framerate, but then they will turn around and complain they are not getting enough content for their money. What does it matter if the developer holds back content for DLC as long as the game is fun, right? More content doesn't automatically equal more fun.

That's a bit of a stretch considering Remedy developed Alan Wake while Naughty Dog developed Uncharted 1,2, 3, and The Last of Us. How can you honesty hold them to the same caliber? Other than Alan Wake Remedys last game was like 2003. They are good developers, but there is no need to exaggerate.
People want MS to be more transparent. Not market games as Xbox only, when they know it will reach other platforms.
Now we know the "polish" the game needed to be delayed for.
It's unreasonable for people to want MS to abandon PC gamers, and I don't think most people want that. It's perfectly reasonable for gamers to expect companies to be honest from the gate.
Imagine a scenario where someone has a gaming PC, and they buy an Xbox One during the holiday (during awesome promos) because they were lead to believe they would be provided exclusive games that can only be played on the Xbox One. If these games are then announced for PC, a platform he already had, you don't think it's a bad thing that he pretty much wasted money buying an additional platform that was unnecessary because he already owned a platform the games are coming to?

I thought that 1 million figure was across Xbox One and 360. Also, why compare Tomb Raider to Bloodborne when they have two different target demographic. Bloodborne is not a type of game for everyone and is considered niche in that regard. Wouldn't it have been better to compare it to Uncharted collection?
@ gamer9 and jholden
After Tomb Raider being advertised in Microsoft's "greatest line up in history", and yet selling so poorly, despite being one of the best games this year (my opinion); Xbox fans have no right to denounce any Playstation exclusive claiming most of them are games PS4 owners won't buy. How about some of you guys look in the mirror and support some Xbox exclusives other than shooter titles. You act like PS4 getting a variety of games across ...
@ t-hall
If Xbox One is selling at a faster pace than the 360, then it stands to reason that Halo 3 was selling to a smaller install base than Halo 5. Halo 3 not only scored much higher than Halo 5, but it sold much better as well. Forza has been released in 2013, 2014, 2015, and will release in 2016. A Halo game was released in 2014, 2015, and one will release in 2016. Maybe it's time to give the franchises a little rest.
@ septic
Ummm, the last two Forza games (not Horizon, as it set its own standard) didn't reach franchise standards either. So the quick development time and quick releases seems to be taking its toll too. Forza 5 is rated at 79, and Forza 6 is at 87.
The truth of the matter is both series have declined from their prime, not saying they have completely lost it though. Time will tell how the next GT will do.
EDIT: on topic though, GT has a ...
@ bleedsoe9mm
PS4 has more first and third party games than Xbox One. In fact, other than Halo and Forza, most of their exclusives (actually most are console exclusive) were/are developed by third party. Ryse, Dead Rising 3, Sunset Overdrive, Ori, State of Decay, Rise of the Tomb Raider (not even exclusive, but still heavily marketed by MS), Quantum Break, Scalebound, Killer Instinct season 1, and Crackdown 3. And an Xbox fanboy like you has the nerve to mention a reliance on...
