What do you mean Nintendo always finds a way to comeback? After the SNES
It's all been downhill for their consoles. The N64 was the console that started losing 3rd party support, and sold poorly. The GameCube continued the trend of losing 3rd party support (other than capcom), and sold poorly as well. The Wii sold exceptionally well in the first half of its life cycle, but at a dire cost as they almost completely lost third party support and support of the majority of the hardcor...

Sunset Overdrive was shown at Microsofts 2013 E3, and released a year and a half later. So it qualifies as a title that was shown but not released for a while, despite you trying to prove it otherwise.
People are giving credit to Microsoft for focusing their E3 on games releasing in 2015, but neglect the fact that of those 5 games announced, two of them were at last years e3 (Halo 5 and Tomb Raider), and one of them is a yearly franchise (Forza, ...
If 10 devs have 1 game they are not bringing to your console of choice, then its not one specific game you are missing out on, its 10. Not saying there are 10 games, just using an arbitrary number to get a point across. So you way of thinking is flawed when looking at the big picture.
@ donthate
I get what you are saying, but couldn't they have said "this holiday season" or "this fall" if that was the case? Why say "this year"?
I like how some people are focusing on the "first on PS4" reference, but those same people treat Rise of the Tomb Raider as the holy grail (a bit of exaggeration lol) exclusive for Microsoft even though it was confirmed timed exclusive. At least Sony is upfront and honest during the reveal, Microsoft tried to pass of Rise of the Tomb Raider as an exclusive initially.
Microsoft had a great conference. Sony had a better one, deal with it.
This is definitely awesome news, BC is a very useful feature. What I don't understand is why are people comparing this to PSNow. It's been made clear many times that PSNow is not a solution for BC. It's not even geared towards the same demographic. PSNow is not for people who already own the game, it's for people who don't own the game or the console for that matter. Want to play PS3 games without a console on your Samsung TV, PSNow is geared towards you. I'm not tryin...
@ rookie_monster
PS4 games don't have to compete with Xbox One games. They have double the install base to sell to. They are also releasing for more than 2 months of the year.
Since when is a teaser the same as an official announcement?
@ ronsonPL
Your comment doesn't make much sense. You said that 95% of gamers are going to play this game on a display that cannot properly accommodate 60fps, meaning Insomniacs decision of 30fps is only going to negatively impact 5% of gamers (the other 95% cannot tell the difference due to their TVs, as per your comment). So how is it a huge disappointment, if 95% of people cannot see the advantages of 60fps (as per your comment)? Seems it would be more of a non issue, t...
@ aquaticdonut
This is an era of gamers using the term "graphics over gameplay" incorrectly. Gameplay has to do with the mechanics of a game, not how fast the image refreshes. Gameplay also helps us distinguish what type of game we are playing (I.e. Shooter, rpg, racing, platformer, etc). I've not played this upcoming R&C game, but I'd wager the gameplay mechanics align with what R&C is known for.
I wonder who started the whole &quo...
@ rookie monster
Ori and the Blind Forest can be played on PC, no Xbox console necessary (therefore not a Xbox exclusive). Rime can only be played on PS4, Sony console required (hence the term exclusive). That's the difference. Hope that helps.
I think it will eventually come to PS4. Reason being, when Titan was confirmed exclusive, they openly said it was only for Xbox consoles and PC for the life of the title. If Tomb Raider was going to be a console exclusive (same as Titanfall), they would have said so.
The only reason they wouldn't announce it as a console exclusive would be if they were still negotiating it. I don't think at this point they would be, considering the huge install base of the PS4. Its no...
It would probably be less expensive to buy this accessory plus a 2TB internal HDD, than it would be to buy a 1TB external HDD. So if saving money is your goal, an internal HDD would be your most cost effective option.
@ Andrewlb
So you consider PS4 games that are also on PC as multiplatform games, but your list of Xbox exclusives included:
- Rise of the Tomb Raider (confirmed timed exclusive, meaning its going to other platforms, meaning not an exclusive)
- state of decay (also available on PC)
- Ori and the blind forest (available on PC).
Oh, the level of hypocrisy is strong with you. You contradicted yourself in the same comment.

By its second year on the market the Xbox One will have 2 Halo games, and 3 Forza games already. PS4 doesn't have more than one of any franchise so far (with the exception of MLB the show). On the PS3 there hasn't been more than 3 games for any of their big franchises. Meanwhile the 360 had 4 Gears games, 5 Forza games, and 7 Halo games, with not much else (especially after 2009). Playstation gamers do not have to deal with the same kind of rehash as Xbox gamers, misery sure loves com...
I wonder if the people who are saying a 30-40% increase is huge when it comes to performance are the same people that say a 30-40% increase is minimal when it comes to image quality (pixels).
@ head black man
I think you need to read his comment again.
I got 99 problems and remasters are all of them. Actually, I don't mind remastered games. I can resist the urge to buy them if need be.
@ stikepackage
It's not about who does it first. It's about who does it more, who does it better, and who does it consistently.
@ all the people claiming hypocrisy
So last gen, Microsoft spent tons of money on DLC and third party partnerships instead of focusing on first party titles; and you guys thinks that is the same as Sony spending money on DLC and partnerships while focusing on first party titles. Some of you people are real sharp /s.
I think people like to use the word hypocrite to try and prove a point when there isn't one to prove. I'll make it simple for you people. <...
