Not for nothing but your list is misinformed as well. Second half of 2015 Sony will have GoW 3 remastered, Until Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded, Uncharted Collections, Disgaea 5, Dragonquest Heroes, Tales of Zesteria.

If you are going to reply to a comment about lists, try to make yours a bit more correct as well.

EDIT: @ moldybread

How is a game coming to any of Sonys three platforms comparable to something releasing i...

It's amazing that after all these years, after being corrected hundreds of times, people still misquote Ken Kuturagi. He never said people should get two jobs to get a PS3. People who keep spouting this nonsense at this point are just ignorant. There is just no other way to put it.

PS3 might have left a bad taste in people's mouths, but let's not act like the changes they made were just for shits and giggles. They offered true, native BC which came at a cost (even...

If you are referring to first party titles, what about Microsofts?

- Forza 5, Forza Horizon 2, Forza 6, Halo TMCC, Halo 5, Halo Wars 2, Gears UE, Gears 4, Fable Legends... Talk about deja vu. At least there is Rare replay, sea of thieves, Killer instinct and Crackdown 3. But has Microsofts first party released a new IP yet?

Granted, the above consists of good games, but Microsofts first parties are spoon feeding you the same games, t...

Is that so? Is that why every "port of an already successful game" gets a demo?

So you don't think a big chunk of new Xbox One owners will be Xbox 360 owners? These people are able to download Xbox One GWG (through the website) in anticipation of getting a Xbox One.

Did you not think of this before your attempt at insults?

1) The PS3 being relevant still is not a bad thing, even if the 360 is not getting nearly the same level of support.

2) US is not the world. Even if a game doesn't launch in US, its still a game nonetheless, and can be imported since the PS4 is region free.

3) The PS4 getting over triple the amount of games does not take away from the fact that the Xbox One is getting a large amount of games. Just accept the fact that PS4 is ...

Before titanfall there was Brink. A very underrated game in my opinion. The problem with Brink was timing. It came out when CoD was at its prime, plus on consoles that couldn't allow 60fps (for the type of game at that time). But I agree with you that developers should not be afraid to try something new to push us forward, it has to come naturally though. When things are forced, or implemented just for no reason or at the wrong time, it can backfire (aka Brink).

The PS3 was harder to develop for, but was more powerful than the 360. They did not invest extra money for the PS3 versions, which is why early on multiplats were noticeably better on 360. Between learning the console through time, and the power of the PS3, the differences became negligible.

It's a bit different now where the harder to develop for console (slightly perhaps) is also the weaker console, and also has a much smaller install base (worl...

Ummm, why would I want virtual objects in the real world? If I'm going to spend my time in the real world, I'll use real objects. The whole point of videos games is kind of an escape from the real world, to be immersed in the virtual world created for you. Some video games will deceive the mind in thinking the experience is real, real enough to elicit thoughts and emotions. Others are just pure fun. Either way you are being immersed into that "world". If VR can further imme...

The raw numbers for the 360 were greater because they launched a year earlier. The PS3 consistently outsold the 360, which is why they were able to close the raw number difference. Xbox 360 sold 80+ million in 10 years, PS3 sold 80+ million in 9 years. PS3 sold at a faster rate than 360, just look at the percentages.

Xbox 360 did a excellent job, don't get me wrong, I just don't understand how people fail to consider the year head start when a making comparisons.

I'm confused. Phil states annualizing Halo is unlikley, but a Halo game has been released in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and one has been confirmed for 2016. That seems pretty annualized.

I don't think Windows 10 is going to impact Steam any different than Origin and uPlay did. Valve as a service provider are in a different boat than as a publisher/developer/manufactur er.

And if you are skilled with tanks then you should have no problem adjusting to the change. The way I see it, this prevents just anyone from hopping in a tank and destroying. If you want to be proficient in a tank then you have to take the time to learn how to shoot while moving.

It's no different then why they opted to not make sniper rifles one-hit-kill weapons (except the ones on maps), while also having bullet drop at different distances...

Xbox fanboy 7 years ago says "Its so obvious multiplats are better on the Xbox 360. I mean c'mon, it's 720p vs 700p. Xbox pwns."

Same Xbox fanboy says, in present time, "There is no obvious difference in multiplats. I mean c'mon, I just don't see a difference between 900p vs. 1080p. It's miniscule."

Whether you refuse to see the difference, or you just can't see it, there is still a difference. And the difference ca...

Remote play on PS4 isn't limited to ones own network. When you can stream XB1 games to a PC outside the confines of your home network, then you can claim the features are the same. Until then, that is a pretty distinguishing fact.

To be fair, BC on XB1 can be practical for XB1 gamers who only had a PS3 last Gen and may want to play certain games (or gamers that didn't have either console last gen). For example, if a gamer never had an Xbox 360 and now has a XB1, they can play all the Gears games and catch up with the story before playing Gears 4.

I think BC is like Remaster, where they target a specific demographic. They both have pros and cons. BC is free, but you...

I'm a VIta owner, had one since day one. I feel it's excusable. You are clearly making a mountain out of a mole hill. It's not as big a deal as you are portraying it to be. I can use those apps on my smartphone if I need them, and I'd bet most people who have a Vita have a smartphone as well. These apps are redundant amongst multiple devices, so if one of the many connected devices doesn't have them, I'll just use another device or I could just use the browser on the V...

So where does it say any of those games, on Steam, have cross platform play with Xbox One? No one is denying games are available on Steam, which is all your links prove. Mind you, you just proved my point of Windows 10, not Steam, being required for cross platform play with the Xbox One. This seems to be the policy that is preventing FFXIV from appearing on Xbox One.

Your argument is not coherent.

3788d ago 19 agree1 disagreeView comment

FFXI came out like 10 years ago. Policies can change regarding cross platform play, especially considering Microsofts usage of Azure servers now on the Xbox One (Azure servers were not used on the 360 back then). It may very well be that Microsoft require their cross platform games to run on Azure servers and nothing else. This would explain why cross platform games on PC only work with titles purchase through Windows 10 as opposed to games purchases on Steam. Square probably wants to use the...
