The Scorpio does sound like a promising console, but it's a no buy for me. I can't see myself buying another Microsoft console. Obviously the choice to buy an Xbox One was mine, but only one of the games I bought it for is not coming to PC (SSO) and that stings me a bit since I already have a pretty capable gaming PC (had it before I bought the Xbox One last year which was before they made their announcements of bringing these exclusives to PC). Quantum Break, Scalebound, and Gears 4 ...

I don't know where all this conjecture about Xbox users being more inclined to buy digital then PS users comes from.

I don't think here has been any exclusive this gen with the type of marketing and hype Quantum Break received, that sold this poorly.

I'm playing the game slowly. The film grain, aliasing on pretty much everything, and the constant ghosting bother me. The game just isn't visually appealing to me, with the exception of the effects. I'll definitely finish the game since I spent money on it, and it was one of the main reasons I bought an Xbox One.

Capcom announced the plans to release half the content and the rest in the summer, before the game launched. Im not sure how gamers interested in SFV would be unaware of this. Capcom is probably expecting the sales of SFV to increase when the rest of the content is released (free for those who already bought the game), and that doesnt seem like an improbablilty. Personally, Im waiting for the rest of the content to buy the game.

SF V sold poorly because of lack of content, not because it was on PS4 and PC.

First word in that article is rumor... Need I say more.

@ stealth20k

You sure that's not from an idiotic perspective? I don't recall Shenmue 3 and Final Fantasy VII getting release dates. There is still more than half the year left for Horizon and The Last Guardian to release, or get delayed, before we can claim anything about broken promises. Perhaps you seen a different E3 than everyone else.

Im sure they will continue to expand the compatibility, but I doubt it will expand interest for people not interested in the feature. I can't imagine too many people thinking "I can't wait for Mass Effect trilogy to hit BC, then I'll pick up an Xbox One". It's more of a perk for those who already own the console than a system selling feature imo. I think it's great they are thinking about existing owners, but Xbox fans are blowing the feature a bit out of proport...

It's obvious people care about BC, and rightfully so as it's a nice, convenient feature. Be that as it may, there are still more people that do not care for it enough to buy an Xbox One over a PS4, this is evident by the fact that Xbox One is constantly outsold by the PS4. Given the disparity in userbase, it seems more people are more concerned with current gen gaming on their current gen consoles than last gen gaming on their current gen consoles. Regarding BC, Sony has been there an...

Umm, people can still play Black Ops on the PS3, how is it exclusive to Xbox One? Just because Black Ops cannot be played on PS4, doesn't mean it's exclusive to Xbox One. Your comment is inaccurate to say the least.

Perhaps people do not want to talk about it because they are tired of discussing rumors of the Xbox One console becoming more powerful. First is was an extra GPU or something to that effect, then it was cloud computations, then it was unlocking DX 12. We are approaching 3 years into the console cycle and none of the above has come happened yet. At what point do you think its wise to discuss things with a bit more substantial information?

Xbox fans never want to discuss the...

It's fair to say you didn't see any TLoU comparisons because Microsoft did not have a game the could be compared to it when it released. Unless of course you want to compare it to Gears of War Judgement, which is an established IP; in which case TLoU, a new IP, destroys it.

You can't really blame people for comparing Uncharted 4 and Quantum Break, especially considering so many Xbox fans claim Remedy is Microsofts Naughty Dog. ...

@ fries

It appears Halo isn't even Halo anymore. Halo was once known for great single player and great MP, now its just MP that is relevant. Also, at least Sony understands the concept of letting an IP rest and trying something new, while Im sure Halo will get an announcement at E3 for a fall 2017 title.

On topic though, I have yet to play either game yet. I am actually heading to Best Buy tonight to pick both of them up. I will be playing Quantum Bre...

The retail games remedy has made are Max Payne 1&2, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break. Why people consider them "Microsoft's Naughty Dog" is beyond me. Within the last 9 years Naughty Dog has released 5 amazing games (Uncharted 1-4 and TLoU). Remedy are not on the same level as Naughty Dog, simple.

EDIT: Not to mention Microsoft doesnt even own Remdey. Other than partner, they arent Microsofts anything, they are independent...

When those Gears of War 4 trailers came out every Xbox fan was all like "but the game is not done" and "it's an alpha build". Gran Turismo trailers are released when the game is 50% done and all of a sudden they want to judge an unfinished game.

It amazes me how oblivious some people are. Metacritic is a site that aggregates scores from other sites and weighs them for an average score. There is an absolute requirement when dealing with averages. Because the review they used lacked an actual score, it does not meet the requirement to be used. That is the only reason needed to have the review (whether good or bad) removed. They intentionally circumvented basic logic (logic being you cannot have an undefined measurement in an equation f...

PlayStation fans are just continuing what Xbox fans started last gen. Now since there is nothing to dispute, and they are on the short end of the stick, they don't want to discuss sales and specs anymore.

Xbox fans remind me of the elementary school kid that made fun of others, that got a taste of his own medicine in high school, and now jokes are no longer funny.

EDIT: on topic, SSO was one of the games I bought an Xbox One for (SSO, Quantum Break, G...
