Ahh, the good 'ole release date drivel, the current mantra of the Xbox One fanatic. I would invite you to watch last years Microsoft conferences, where most games shown this year were also shown last year, and see if there were release dates (hint: there wasn't). It wouldn't matter though because you lot seem too dense to understand that NEW game announcements almost never have release dates. You know what a new game announcement is right? That thing that was pretty much absent at...

The only reason Microsoft is bringing their games to PC is because they have to. Its not like Xbox One owners run out and buy their games. If it's not Halo, Forza, or Gears, it doesn't sell well. Look at Quantum Break; hyped to hell and back, sold like shit. What else are they supposed to do to sell their software? Its like with anything, if your stuff isn't selling adequately, you increase your client demographic. It's not rocket science.

If I were in your shoes I would wait until it gets a price and official specs. That way you can gauge its value vs the PS4.

Nearly all the games Microsoft showed off at this years E3 with release dates, were originally announced last year WITHOUT release dates. So while Sony announced NEW games this E3 without release dates, Microsoft opted to slap release dates on games they have already shown and call it a show. Naturally there are those with no hindsight, like yourself, that can't comprehend that.

To be fair, I do commend Microsoft on announcing the Scorpio early. It does seem like it may...

@ moldybread

No, Ori and the Blind Forest is not first party.

Only Halo, Forza, Gears 4, and Sea of Thieves is first party. Everything else is third party developed but published by Microsoft FYI.

@ superlupe

A few things to consider. The Xbox 360 launched a whole year sooner, was less expensive, and had a bunch of games not available on PS3. Look what happened when both consoles launched at the same time. Now imagine what could happen if Sony launches a year earlier, at a lower cost, with a bunch of games not available on Xbox One or Scorpio. Hardly the same scenario as when the 360 launched, so there is no point in trying to make a comparison.

So either you are not a hypocrite and you think power doesn't matter; or you are a hypocrite as well and suddenly think power matters, in which case you concede that today, in the present time, factually, undeniably, the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox One and it matters. Which is it?

Oh and in case you are wondering, I think power does matter, just like price and games. They are all factors in the big picture.

Please provide a link to Sony confirming the PS4 Neo's specs, I'm pretty interested in that information. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: As I suspected, I don't think I'm going to get a link. Nothing but speculation I guess.

A gamer with a gaming PC can play every Microsoft game available on the Xbox One, which limits the reasons to own the console since it's not required to play said games. This is not the case with the PS4 because that same gamer would have to buy a PS4 if they want to play games that are offered by Sony. Whether this actually hurts Microsoft or Sony I do not know. I'm sure they have very knowledgeable people that weigh the benefit of selling consoles by l...

BossBattle has to be one of the most uninformed gamer on this site. Sony attended E3, Paris Games Week, TGS, and their annual PSX. Thats double the events Microsoft attended.

Do yourself a favor and do a bit of research if you are going to comment on things you know nothing of.

Perhaps Sony should shut down SSM for not consulting you on what THEIR game is supposed to be. Shame on them.

None of what you mentioned offers additional benefits to current Xbox One owners. "Play anywhere is a benefit for Windows 10 and a means to get PC gamers on board with Microsoft. "No one gets left behind" is a joke; all its saying is that Xbox One gamers are going to be able to continue to play games being released for the Xbox One. You don't say. It's just a way to reassure gamers that the upgraded versions won't mean abandonment ...

But don't you think brand loyalty stems from somewhere? You are correct that most of the games library is the same between the two consoles, but that's because of multiplats. Taking into consideration exclusives, which is was he was referring to, there is a rather large disparity from what the two consoles offer. You made comparison between some of the games, but what about the rest? What exclsuive did Microsoft show that's comparable in style to TLG, Go...

Didn't Shawn Layden state that 40 million PS gamers already have a console that can utilize PSVR? If my PS4 can already support PSVR, as Sony already confirmed, why is the release of PSVR tied to a console that isn't required for it?

In retrospect, your comment is funny. You had such a positive perspective on every trailer shown for Microsoft, which is cool. Now that the Sony conference has ended, do you still feel it was as mundane as you tried to make it out to be with your half-witted prediction?

@ BossBattle

1. Scalebound was confirmed co op before this E3, they just showed a trailer with co op.
2. ANY game bought on Xbox One IS NOT automatically free on Windows 10. Microsoft published games are cross buy between Xbox One and Windows 10. This is an important distinction because ANY, as you put it, would also include third party games.
3. If someone has a PC, you want them to buy a Xbox One S or Scorpio just to get that free version of a game? If t...
