Was planning on purchasing a physical copy today. Not anymore.
I would need to see some more current gen exclusives before investing in any "Pro" hardware. As an early adopter I am still waiting for current gen to untie itself from last gen so we can see what it can really do.
I am a little concerned that the 9th generation may have the potential to become either lost or longest generation. With current world events, it does not seem that the supply chain issues will be fixed anytime soon. As an early adopter of both the Series X and PS5, I do not see this as good for gaming. At least not from the early adopter perspective.
I remember a time when there was simply one standard version of every game, and it included all content. Some content was locked, but not behind a pay wall. The unlockable content was used as an incentive to continue to play the game, and unlocked as the player progressed.
We as gamers have allowed this to happen with our willingness to pay micro transactions and unfinished games. 2K being some of the worst offenders can take their Deluxe Edition (or any edition for that ma...
RD2 received a 4K patch for the X1X also. A Series X and/PS5 60 fps patch would be great, but I highly doubt it will ever happen.
Is WW3 coming or are we going to be ok? Trying to plan for the future.
$70 roadmap with a bunch of paid content.
Don’t all Beanies less a logo look suspiciously like another?
I remember booting Gears 1 on day 1 back in 2006 and my girlfriend at the time said “how could games look any better from here.”
Not only was Gears 1 special for its visuals, but the gameplay felt so fresh and innovative. What a time.
You are correct as they already do. GamePass is base tier with an up charge for GamePass ultimate.
Apples and oranges.
Wow, never thought of it that way. I probably spent $10 to $15 a month in 90s dollars. Also if I didn’t like what I rented during the weekend I was stuck with it, but with GamePass there are 100+ other games for me to chose from so I can switch one out for another at no additional fee. I am not a fan of games moving in the subscription service direction, but your post helped put things in perspective. Nice Necr0philiac!
I haven’t. Doesn’t surprise me though.
I had the opposite. On one of my two OG Xbox’s, the power button quit working but the eject button works just fine. I am happy it was the power button instead of the eject given it still powers on.
@anast it is a ton of fun, but after mutations and very high toxicity tolerance it turns into mostly one hit kills. For some players it can be boring. It is no where near as tanky as your bear grandmaster armor build where attacks just bounce off of you. That set is pretty fun as well.
I have no idea what the wolf set is like. I have all grandmaster sets in the game except for that one. The reason being that the PS4 version was glitched and when I found a piece or the set ...
I use grandmaster feline armor and master crafted weapons with combat/alchemy build. DPS is insane. Only issue is I have to make Geralt where glasses so he doesn’t wear the hood attached to the feline set. Other than the hood, set looks and plays great.
You mean you didn’t feel satisfied after finding all the Craggerbears? :/
I was convinced that the SNES was better in every way and no kid in my school could convince me otherwise. We showed off screenshots in magazines and battled often. Back in those days I knew nothing of frame rate drops, but I did know that the NES could display more colors at once when compared to the Genesis. Therefore, it had the best graphics and was the best console. Lol!
The Neo Geo was a pipe dream during that era. I only knew one kid who had one and man was I jealous...
Yeah you caught me in a lie because I was trying to use my fake username to somehow gain video game cred SMH.
The last GT I purchased was on PS3, and I was prepared to drop $70 today because I didn't know about the microtransactions. Now that I know, I will continue working through my back log. Believe me or don't. Makes no difference.
