You are not the only one. I started the game on Graphics mode and it looked like a slideshow. It looked like I was seeing doubles of the characters when spinning the camera.
Never seen 30fps look so blurry. What TV are you playing it on? I ask because I wondered if it was my TV making the 30fps mode look so bad. I am playing on an 83” OLED G2 and felt maybe I was sitting too close. I normally do not mind a Graphics mode, but this one was rough.

Agreed. Seems they have learned that gamers don’t enjoy seeing a CG teaser 5 to 6 years in advance. Hits better when a game is closer to release.
Day one
Edited/deleted this post because it was dumb.
It definitely did at Toys R Us. I paid that exact amount.
I remember this day well. I had an OG Xbox and Xbox 360, and I wanted a Microsoft to give me a reason to purchase this console so badly. They never did and it was the first generation where I invested in a single platform for gaming. I ended up with PS4 and PS4 Pro.
Xbox actively marketed the Series X as “the worlds most powerful console.” Consequently, Xbox set their own expectations of high performance with the consumer from the start.
Spaceb0y is not wrong. With extended development cycles and increasing costs, developers are much less likely to take a risk. This is not as large of an issue for indie developers, but for developers making triple AAA titles, the risk is highly significant.
I hope not. A lack of competition is not good for gamers.
Sonic 2 over Super Mario World. Sorry Genesis fans, but this is blasphemy.
Not a fan of the art style either. It has more of a River City Ransom (NES) feel than a Double Dragon feel.
@Christopher
“Opinions are subjective.” Otherwise we’d call them facts.”
This is precisely why I have concerns on regulating speech and thought. Since said regulation is subjective and therefore cannot be based in fact. It is difficult to regulate said things without bias.
To your second point:
I never even hinted at a shadow dictator or anything of the like. Though respectfully I can understand how you may have projected those...
@PhillyDillyDee I certainly never said that the relationship in the game should be censored. I believe that Guerrilla Games should be able to depict any type of relationship they feel is appropriate to the character in the game they are making. Likewise, I am not seeing post stating that Aloy’s lesbian relationship should be censored.
The general tone I am reading is that people are getting a tired of a specific lifestyle that is shared by a small percentage of people bein...
@Christopher while I don’t disagree with what you are saying in theory, my concern comes from questioning who is qualified to determine what the right or wrong opinions are?
Historically speaking, regimes/people that have ruled through censorship have generally been proven to land on the wrong side of history. I.E. book burnings, dehumanizing others to justify harm, etc. Regulating the thoughts of others has proven to be a dangerous game.
Are you in favor of censorship when someone formulates an opinion that is different from your own?
IMO, the Xbox brand has suffered since the late 2000s when Kinect was released. It seems that Xbox is always trying to invent or provide services to the consumer that nobody is asking for instead of focusing on what the consumers clamor for from any gaming division. Which is Games!
Their lack of consumer driven decision making became most noticeable through the forcing of Kinect on the consumer at the Xbox One launch, TV, TV, TV, DRM, GamePass and more recently Halo as a li...
How is this still a thing?
I don’t get the hate for kingnick’s comment. To put it simply due to inflation and other economic pressures consumer purchasing power is on the decline and this is likely result in less sales. It doesn’t mean Sony won’t hit 60 million. I think they will. However, there is a high probability that that looming economic conditions will have some negative impact on sales of all non-essential consumer goods. Not just consoles.
Feel like a sucker for purchasing my Series X at launch. I knew the Series S would be an albatross on the X so I guess their statement makes sense. No matter how maddening it is.
