I agree this is not necessarily anti-consumer. I think the bigger issue that nobody was asking for Microsoft Xbox’s flagship series to be FTP. As FTP leads to garbage like this.

Still have mine as well. Mostly played Super SF2 and Samurai Showdown on it. 3DO had the best SF port when I got it and since I didn’t have a Neo Geo it was the best place for me to play Samurai Showdown.
I also have a nice collection of FMV games, but they are all awful. They looked great in video game magazines at the time (graphics), but the gameplay is horrid lol.
I think for me I think it is more that the protagonist is hard to relate to and not particularly likable. And no it’s not because it is a female, I absolutely love Horizon.

Your definitely entitled to your opinion and I respect it, but personally I liked the plot twist. Since I already played the original, the twist makes the game more interesting. At least for me.
I spent about 60+ hours or so to Platinum the Remake. Some of the side quest were filler and not fun. Especially searching for the little girls cats 🙄. Took me about 50 hours when I was a teenager to beat Emerald and Ruby weapon. Yes I still have the memory card.
All said, I really enjoyed the remake as an overall package and didn’t feel ripped off by the run time. Skipping the side quest still would have gotten me 30 to 40 hours which is plenty of game imho.Can’t w...

I agree that it is bit too much for the SNES to handle, but not by a leap or anything. On the other hand I think the next gen (at the time) PS1 could have handled it no problem and likely better than what was demonstrated here. Think FF7, maybe it does not have the fluidity of this demo, but the demo doesn’t have the visual and graphic demand of FF7.
Nevertheless, the work they did on this demo is awesome and I really enjoyed watching it.
I was lucky to watch the original TMNT in theaters as well. Absolutely loved it, but 7 year old me was shocked when Ralph shouted D@$! in the city. Never saw that in the cartoon. Lol!
On a side note I now have an original 89 TMNT cabinet in my man cave. At 6 years old, it was probably the first arcade game that really blew my little mind. A masterpiece for its time.

That’s not how stats work. In order for your estimate to be correct, you are assuming an infinite supply of PS5s are available at all times. Since supply is finite, this is essentially stating that when supply is released to the open market, said supply sells at a rate of approximately 1000 units per minute.
Would like to give props to the mod team for letting the article be posted and keeping the comments open. It would be uncomfortable going through the comments from a mods point of view, but they are allowing the discussion to occur. I do not think a lot of other places would allow this type of open discussion about how things have been and are being moderated. I was not a member, but was a lurker for a very long time. Today it is hard to believe, but in the early to mid 360 days, Xbox fans outnumbered Sony fans by a significant number. The pendulum has swung in the other direction, but there definitely was a time.
Never found anything comedic about Fei Long. Dude just shows up to fight and seems to be a solid homage to THE MAN (Bruce Lee) himself.
Glad to read that this is just speculation. IMO Bruce Lee is a figure who transcends time and shouldn’t be forgotten for his contributions to martial arts. Even if it is through imitation by a character like Fei Long.
Agreed. Have had Sonic 3 and every other Genesis or Arcade version of Sonic on my OG Xbox since 2004. Best for game preservation.
