I really hope so! Time to move on.
Got to love reviews that spoil the ending. SMH.
What would blow my mind would be if 2K went back to the days when these games were fun and replaced VC with XP.
Agreed Jeece and have been thinking about this for a while. With development cycles being this long and obviously not getting shorter, we may have a PS6 before getting triple AAA exclusives that are not held back by gen 8 consoles.
Great list! Thank you! Ordered via Amazon a WD Black SN850 2TB and a MHQJRH M.2 2280. Now just have to wait.
@EvertonFC Yeah I had it in my cart and was thinking of how cheap the price was compared to every where else. Thought the price was to good to be true, and by looking at the reviews, it appears that maybe it is. I hope I am wrong for the OPs sake.
I almost purchased a WD SN850 2TB with heatsink from the WD store, but just before confirming my purchase I googled reviews about the store online and they are 1 out of 5 stars almost everywhere. Hundreds of reviews. Scared me away from their digital store. I wish you luck.
2K pretending they do not know how to use the smart delivery tech.
@kingpos I agree to an extent, but many more systems will be available in 21, 22, and 23. There is know legitimate reason for a company that “believes in generations” to be releasing exclusive triple AAA games across two generations 2 years after their next gen console is released.
I wish the cross gen stuff would end. One of the several reasons is so we are not constantly hearing about and discussing free upgrades or paid upgrade paths. It is time to move on from 8th gen.
I wouldn’t expect it to be cheaper for you anytime soon. It will be a number of years.
Any word at all from those who are in the know of when this may come out of the beta stage? I have been looking for a reliable source, but I do not see even a hint of a potential date yet.
Played this game via GamePass thinking I would spend 5 minutes with it because I typically do not like Rougelike games, but now I cannot put it down. This is a game that I never would have given a chance, but now I will probably end up purchasing it when it is removed from the service.
I finally got out of Hades for the first time last night after 21 runs, and I cannot wait to go on another run to get out with the other weapons and continue progressing. It is highly addicti...
@binarymind. Yeah Shenmue was amazing and felt so fresh 20 years ago. I beat 1-2 on my Dreamcast and couldn’t wait for next game. When the next one came nearly 20 years later it was clear Shenmue needed a refresh and I was no longer interested. Not to mention due to the length of time between games the story of 1 and 2 are for the most part lost on me now. Nevertheless, the both games left a pretty big impression on me back in the day and were great for their time.
I can remember finishing Shenmue 2 in 2002 and being extremely excited for the next one. If asked back then I never would have expected that the series would still be incomplete in 2021.
With the problems they have had with development combined the fact they are open about releasing an unfinished game, why would anybody purchase this on day one? I will give it a shot on GamePass, but I certainly wouldn't purchase day one even if GamePass did not exist. I hope this ends up being a great game, but currently there are to many red flags.
Yes, Ryu looks like an unattractive female with no makeup.
A Zangief player from day 1. I respect you sir. I was by far the worst with him when compared with any other character in the original. You have to truly master his strengths to make him work for you. I was never able to really pull him and his spinning pile driver off all that well.
Agreed Bathyj. I really enjoyed the combat system because it forced the player to approach each enemy or group of enemies in a variety of ways. You couldn’t just run in without learning enemy weak points, tendencies, and you had to put thought into weapon choices based on weaknesses. It was reasonably deep for a large open world game.
Not to mention that the story was intriguing as well. I may need to do a NW+ now that there is a free upgrade and I never got the chance to ...
Mario 64 may not be as impressive now, but at the time of release in the 90s I do not remember a game that did 3D better. Mario 64 was a game changer. The reflective metal Mario blew my mind the first time I saw it.
