I still have a little bit of work to do in the Blood and Wine expansion. I am really looking forward to the update for the better loading times more than anything. The rest will be icing on the cake.

It’s all personal preference, but I felt the Peter and Miles connection was interesting in the OG game and made the story stronger. The Miles game was short, but well done in my opinion. If Peter’s character was completely abandoned I would get, but I feel the 2 play off each other well.
Makes sense. Great movie and we got a great game as a result. Excited for Spider-Man 2 with Miles, Peter, and Venom!
@VivaChe I suppose that rules out playing games depicting those unwillingly drafted to fight in the multiples of wars that have occurred throughout the history. Also rules out games depicting enslaved gladiators during the Roman Empire whom were made to fight. etc., etc., etc.
Again depicting anything violent does not mean it is being condoned. If you want to take a stand against actual cockfighting I will stand with you. However, we are talking about virtual chickens.
Same for me. Running towards an objective icon only to get taken out by someone who was not in my squad but was on my team. Then respawn to start running towards icon I know nothing about again. Lol
Then you should likewise be against any game that depicts violence against anybody or anything. Just because because something is depicted does not mean it is condoned.
At this point they are just trying to at the very least break even on this game. Never should have been GaaS to begin with, but at this point I cannot blame them for trying to mitigate their losses. Going GaaS was such a missed opportunity on what could have been a great game.
For me personally I installed it via Gampass on my SX last weekend, and decided after the opening mission that it is not worth the 125GB of storage. The gameplay just feels mediocre IMHO.
@SurgicalMenace the thing is I couldn’t care less what color of skin the developers apply to the protagonist/antagonist. So long as the game is fun, and the narrative around the protagonist/antagonist is interesting, that is all that really matters to me.
Original SNES Power Rangers game was surprisingly really good and a ton of fun. Never got around to The Movie game. I think I was hitting the age where I thought I was “too cool” to be associated with anything Power Rangers around the time The Movie Game was released. Though I’m sure I still played the original in secret from time to time when no one was looking. Lol

Thanks for the input DarthZoolu, However, as of today the Series X does not have a Dolby Vision calibrator. It only features an HDR calibrator. The C8 has a built in game mode that I set it too because it defaults to Dolby Vision natural. However, the picture is oversaturated in that mode. If I put my TV in any mode other than game mode the latency is terrible. I could be wrong, but I am thinking the SX will need an update to feature DV calibrator similarly to their current HDR calibrator. Un...
Just tried multiple games in Dolby Vision on my LG OLED C8 and not as excited anymore. The games look oversaturated and washed out. I think the Series X may need a calibration mode similarly to how it features an HDR calibration mode. In increases load times slightly as well. Set my TV to Dolby Vision game mode to reduce latency. Latency was good but picture was oddly inferior to HDR mode.

As an owner of all Halo games I hope you are correct, but I don’t understand the certainty of your comment given the development hell this game has gone through.
I agree in principle, but I do not know if 6 months is the answer. IMO delay the game until it is 100% ready and don’t release in pieces. Halo is Microsoft’s flagship IP and needs to be complete and the best it can be upon release.
Lastly, given the significant monetary investment and considerable development length, if this game is anything less than a great game it is time to move Halo away from 343 and grant the IP to a more competent developer.

Not only were arcade games hard, but were completely skewed and cheated against the player. For example in Street Fighter 2 the CPU would do more damage than your character when doing the exact same move, would have a more beneficial hit box, and would have more immune frames than you would.
