I'm with you on that. I don't see why people are disagreeing. The exact same story was posted around 2 months ago. The only difference was that the job posting was for a PS3 programmer and instead of a 360 artist. Didn't see/hear anyone going off about how they were going PS3 exclusive at the time.

Agreed. The guy behind the counter made a mistake. No big deal. Everyone jumps all over crap like this because nobody likes Gamestop. Definitely not front page material.

It's definitely good news for PS3 owners, but you're just begging to get flamed dude.

Syphon Filter 1 and 2 were some of the best games on PS1. Aparently the ones on PSP are really good too. Maybe you just tried one of the sucky Syphon Filter games? Don't count the new one out just yet. I bet it's going to be awesome. When done right they really strike a perfect balance between stealthy Splinter Cell style play and all out action.

Exactly. Why point to an ambiguous press release? Why not specify, once and for all that it will/will not be coming to the PS3? I don't understand why gaming companies have to be so hush-hush about everything. Even if they aren't 100% sure about the PS3 yet, they could just say that they are considering it, but haven't made a decision yet. Her statement clarifies nothing. Stupid PR people.

It looks better, but is it worth $250? Maybe they could have released a motion controller for the cube and we all could have saved a few dollars.

Devs have access to the same sales figures that we do. When they see Epic, IW, Free Radical...pretty much everyone profiting off their shooters and the Orange Box getting slaughtered because they couldn't make it work right on the same hardware everyone else is using, they'll know to do better next time. If they don't...well, sucks to be them. Half Life is awesome, but it's not like there aren't other games out there. Boycotting may not be the most effective method of getting a point across, ...

There are more than enough great games out for the PS3 now. I'm not exactly loaded, but I do alright...well enough to get a PS3 anyway...the point being there are too many games out now or coming out soon for me to keep up with and not go broke. The library's not quite as extensive than the 360 yet, but there's plenty of good games to be had. Take the plunge if you've been thinking about it. Who needs EA?

Oh and I'm not bashing the 360. I plan to pick one up soon, but the whole...

Good idea Leathersoup. We'll just buy up all the terrible ports and half assed, buggy games crappy devs like EA put out. Never mind all the decent games that are coming out or already have come out this past little while. If we all buy this terrible port of Orange Box instead of UT3 or something, then we can expect more quality titles from EA in the future. /end sarcasm.

What the hell are you talking about?

Also, the new Burnout is being developed by Criterion, ...

Anyone notice the guy was navigating the XMB at the beginning?

I heard this game sucked...like really bad. Never tried it myself. Wonder why they're bothering with this now.

I was all over this story over at Kotaku. SMS rules. I probably logged more hours on Wonderboy and Black Belt than any games since. That's saying a lot considering you could finish both of those games in under two hours (each).

Agreed. Before October this year I can honestly say I had pretty much every quality game on the system. Now I can't afford to keep up with all the awesome games coming out and there are no signs of things slowing down for a long, long time. The online experience could still use some work. They have a gamercard on the way sooner than we might think. Mark Rein let that slip a while ago when he was previewing UT3 for some Journo's.

I agree with Red about changing the review system, but to be fair, there was no reason to mention the X360 score in the title of the article. On the one hand he's saying we need to review titles for each system based on their own merits and not waste time fanning the flamewars. On the other hand the title of the article is kind of saying "Hey look, PS3 got a better score than the X360. Take that Xbots". Which really isn't the point.

It's not a terrible game. I actually find myself enjoying it more as I play through it and not the other way around. I can think of several better titles available for the PS3, but Creed isn't as bad as some reviewers would have us believe. Also, the framerate issues are not nearly as bad as IGN made them sound. Overall it could be a little smoother, but there really isn't any slowdown to be seen. That is to say the frame rate is a bit low, but at least it's steady. So...try it out if you thi...

Nobody can deny that the DS kicks ass, but it's nice to see Sony finally starting to gain some ground in the handheld market. The first few years were bad and there's only Sony to blame for that, but it seems like they're finally starting to "get it". Good stuff. A little competition is a great thing.

What the hell are you talking about? The article has nothing to do with PS3.

6633d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

So by porting it to the consoles it somehow ruins the experience for PC gamers or something? Why do you have to get so worked up? It's like a PC gamer giving DS owners sh!t because their version of Spore will be superior. Who cares?

I think it ended up being that Marvel MMO. Of course it's debatable whether that counts as a major title or not.

6633d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I just played Creed for around 3 hours without a lock up after installing the new firmware. No lock ups at all. Framerate is the same, but I never had a problem with it to begin with. It could be a little smoother in general, but at least there isn't massive slowdown when there are a lot of guys on the screen. Towards the end of the game you end up fighting a tons of guys and it never slows down at all.
