Ya what's up with the Ridge Racer comparison? Ridge Racer is an awful game and it's nothing like GT.

So long as Guile is sweet looking I'm good.

Give these guys some credit. It can't have been easy to get San Andreas or Midnight Club running on a PS2. They're also some of the only devs around who can throw together a story and characters people give a sh!t about.

It doesn't look mind blowing, but it's certainly not "last-gen" either. if they're using a lot of processing power to make the city feel more alive at the expense of the graphics, that's okay with me. I can't wait to see what kind of characters we'll be running into in Liberty City this time.

Looks to me like they really cleaned up the textures and the AA since we last saw this game. The character models are kind of weak, but I can overlook that since they're knocking $20.00 off the price.
I like how lots of people are getting angry at Capcom for releasing this game on PS3. Like it's somehow an insult to PS3 owners or something. It's pretty easy to just not buy a game if you don't like it. No need to feel personally insulted by it.
Personally I like a little brainles...

Best FPS on the system so far. It isn't genre defining or anything, but it held my attention long enough to play through twice which is more than I can say for a lot of FPS nowadays. It's even pretty nice graphically which is awesome considering it's a launch title. The enemies look amazing.
Fun online play and offline co-op too. You should be be to pick up a cheap copy somewhere now, so there's no reason not to play this game.

Okay. For some reason the article didn't mention Wacky Races. What's up with that? Wacky Racers was definitely one of the best racers on the system and it had great 4 way split screen play. They even mentioned that bullsh!t game Pen Pen Tricelon. That game sucked! And no Wacky Races? Weak. Also I saw Street Fighter 3 on there, but not Marvel Vs. Capcom. Dreamcast had the best home version of MVC ever. Anyway, decent list, but it seemed incomplete to me.

There's a great Powerstone collection available on the PSP right now. It's not as cool as a new Powerstone game, but it's nice to see Capcom hasn't given up on the series. I bet we'll see another one soon.

@billbaker: You're right. The same could be said for any Playstation affiliated source. That's kind of irrelevant to the argument Cerulean was trying to make, however, as 1up isn't supposed to be "affiliated" with any console. They're supposed to be objective.

Lol. What the hell Harry. You're one of the most hardcore Sony supporters around and you just got a PS3? That really came out of left field. I wonder if The Mart has a 360...

Bladestar may have had a good point hidden amongst his maniacal ravings, but there's really no reason to call people Sony fanboy scum or anything. He was being an angry little troll. It kind of backfired on him, though. He made some good points about how typically MMO's won't look quite as stunning as other games because a lot of processing power is being used for other processes. Unfortunately none of that really came across in his post because he focused so hard on personally insulting peop...

So you sent us screenshots from an Alpha build of Killzone? K...

Huxley may not be the best looking game around, but the idea of an FPS/MMO is kind of cool. It's definitely one to watch.

Nobody was about to stumble upon any hidden crap in that game unless they had a modded PS2 and knew a little bit about programming or they went online and searched out the patch that unlocked hot coffee...and even then they would still need a modded PS2. If the content can't be viewed without illegally altering the code, then the whole argument is rather moot imo.
I mean the N4G.com code could easily be altered to redirect visitors to a pornographic website or some bullsh!t white power...

Good decision. I spent more time with the Snakeball demo than I did with Blacksite.

I had used a pic of some maple syrup for the story, but someone reported it because it didn't fit the frame right. When I found the pic of J.C. I just couldn't say no. He just can't understand why Canada can't get Rock Band on time.

I hate to sound like a fanboy, but that was really well said Cerulean. Bubbles.

Agreed. That demo was a steaming load of sh!t. I'm usually very forgiving with framerates. Assassin's Creed didn't bother me in the least. Blacksite on the other hand...it's actually unplayable. Avoid this game people.

I'm starting to wonder if Sniper and Zhuk aren't the same person. It's probably some guy who doesn't own either console. He just likes to sit in front of his PC and stir up sh!t among X360 and PS3 owners.
He'll log in a Zhuk and shoot off a couple of quick one liners like, "once again the superior hardware of the Xbox 360 is triumphant".
Then he'll log in as Sniper and ramble on about how the PS3 will eventually lead to Sony's total domination of not only the home cons...

I hate to get my hopes up for a game that's probably going to be terrible, but I can't help but get excited about Harvey Birdman.
Also Burnout, Haze and GTA, but those ones are less likely to disappoint.
