Anyway, looks great, imo. Much more interesting than they made it seem in that crappy E3 demo. Seems like they nailed the "feel" of the guns pretty well. As far as I can tell from that video anyway.

Anyway, as just about the last guy in the world who doesn't have Gears 2 yet I'm looking forward to this. Gears 1 was pretty fun.
I thought maybe they figured out a way to sell DLC for their games or something. That was almost interesting for a second there.
That's sort of what I was thinking. I mean I like Mario as much as the next guy, but can you really picture him going toe to toe with Stryder or Guile? It would just look weird. The only character in the Nintendo stable who would fit easily would be Samus. They could toughen Link's look up and throw him in. That's about it. As far as the major characters go anyway.
I guess we'll never know since we don't know the guy personally, but it's possible his wife is just a b!tch who overreacted.

I remember this game, but never really got into it too much. That mode in Coolboarders 2 where you go down that never ending hill and try to land the tricks the game is feeding you off each jump was just too addictive.
Resistance 2 and Resistance: Retribution had inter-connectivity and the release dates weren't even close. I guess it's nice to dream, but if GT5 were meant to come out this year we would have heard something by now.

Just sounds an awful lot to me like you're one of those people you just called sad. The ones who go out of their way to say their system of choice has the edge. If you want to be all diplomatic and take the "get it for whatever system you want and enjoy" route, then you need to commit. In other words, calling fanboys out in one sentence, then taking a not-so-veiled-jab at the 360 version in the next doesn't make sense.
