Interesting. It's a lot more action oriented than I was expecting. Looks pretty cool, I guess. Be nice to see some HD footage. Can't be too far off now, I guess.

Is Modnation really not coming out until late next year? I was sort of expecting it by Christmas.

Well they won't just let the series die after #3, imo. Maybe they're saving Kratos' brother for his own spin-off game? Sort of like how Halo is going on without the Chief.

That's kind of what I was thinking (about motion control). They'll probably have a more complete product to show off this time with a game or two to go with it. I bet they'll show off another game or two that takes advantage of the camera that's coming out with that PSP animal game.

It is Japan after all so they'll want to pimp all their motion control/virtual reality weirdness.

Semi-off-topic: Strat guides do suck. I remember getting a free strat guide with my copy of Fable way back in the day. That thing was a curse. I normally never use them, but since it was free I kept it around while I was playing. Every time I got stuck on a demon door or something I'd just consult the book. Ended up kind of ruining the game for me.

Lol. How am I rejecting reason? I know sarcasm doesn't always come across well in print, but damn, dude. Could I be any clearer? Tuttle is spot on. The N4G community just wants something to whine about and today there's not much going on in the gaming world so this is what they've latched onto.

Go take a look at my other comments here.

Meh. I'm definitely not interested in the show, but why complain about it? I mean with HOME at least critics could argue that the project took developers off of real gaming projects and was therefore a waste of resources. In this case I don't see how any resources are being taken away from the gaming division. So who cares? Let them make their little show. Nobody's being forced to watch it.

@Statix: They know it's here. There's a forum thread going on right now that some of the N4G staff have even posted in. Fortunately they're choosing to let the community discuss the matter rather than trying to censor things.

Give it a couple of hours and everyone should be back to hating on EA or Activision or Valve or their truck drivin' neighbors or whatever it is we're supposed to hate this week.

Hey screw off with your "logic" and your "reasoning". Hippy.

5978d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

Exactly. Maybe N4G should take a cue from other web 2.0 sites and just not pay anyone. Would that shut everyone up up? This is just a case of some arsehole who doesn't have enough spare time to make the top 5 getting jealous and venting on the interwebs.

Oh noes! I had a tough time choosing who to abandon to their death in the first game. I can only imagine what their cooking up this time. Picking a girl for Sheppard was challenging too. It really speaks to the game's character development when you feel bad about shooting one of the ladies down. I mean they're just collections of polygons and pixels.

I hear ya man. Just prepare for a deluge of disagrees. People around here aren't happy if they don't have something to whine about. I mean they could go contribute over at digg or reddit or something where revenues are higher than anything N4G's ever likely to see and nobody who contributes ever gets paid, but it's more fun to cry on N4G I guess.

Oh and lets ignore all those tiny little blog owners who use N4G and eye catching headlines to drive insane amounts of traffic to the...

Think I might check this out. A lot of the "console games on a handheld" for PSP can't really hold my attention, but the ones that are built from the ground up for handhelds can be a lot of fun. Hopefully GT: Chinatown counts among them.

I'm not a fan of the character design, but that was a great trailer.

Well that should make for a nice upgrade. Rooling around in the Mako was pretty fun, but the planets did feel pretty bland. Maybe if they can incorporate some primitive life and some more vegetation into a few of the unexplored worlds it will feel a bit more alive.

*whistles*

Batman: AA is cleaning up. Nice to see a great game doing so well. I'd say based off the first week's sales that Rocksteady/Eidos made back their money already.

Maybe this means we'll see a sequel. I'd love to see basically the same gameplay but with all of Gotham to explore instead of just Arkham. They could build a hub style city like in Assassin's creed and give you the batmobile for getting around quickly.

Anyone who's played this care to explain how the solos work this time around? I hated the way they worked in World Tour. That one was all about the button mashing. It was also a LOT easier than GH3. How's the difficulty shaping up this time?

Edit: *reads review* Eep. He kind of panned the difficulty there too. Hmmm...

I keep hearing they're better than the main game. Unfortunately I have GTA4 on PS3 so I'm not likely to find out. Not that I was really a fan of GTA4, but the series has enough cred. left over from Vice and San Andreas that I'll give them another shot.

Just have to get GTA5 for 360 if they're going to screw Sony over again.

On topic: Lol. Nice quote. Strauss seems pretty cool. I can't believe that Thompson douche actually wrote his mom a letter one time.

I like WaW online a lot, but that's sort of beside the point.

Am I the only one who feels like IW tends to act like a bunch of jerk-offs where Treyarch is concerned? It's like they're upset that some other dev. studio laid its hands on their precious title. But is that really Treyarch's fault? Shouldn't they blame Activision for insisting the world gets a new COD every year? Or themselves for selling the COD name to Activision in the first place?

All Treyarch eve...

It's about friggin' time, imo. I can't think of a single console MMO off the top of my head apart from FFXI. It's not like we don't have the hardware to handle it anymore.

How long since this gen started? 3 years now? Either Sony or MS is going to need to step up to the plate and take a little risk sooner or later.

Personally I've got high hopes for DC Online.
