Odd story. They're basically reporting that there's nothing to report. I'm in no rush anyway as I've yet to pick up inFamous. Every time I go to grab it there's some other awesome game I missed selling for half the price. Hopefully I can squeeze it in next summer or something.

I like Assault a lot...but it wasn't quite as good as Starfox 64.
Now that I'll agree with. The elevators didn't bother me, but load screens on your own ship suck.
I never found the elevators all that bad. Not to say that the game didn't have some pretty significant technical flaws, but I guess I was expecting the elevators to be so bad (based on N4G comments) that I was surprised at how short they were.
Now the pop-in on the other hand...
Yeah, clearly I'm "crying like a little girl" by stating my opinion. Don't get me wrong here. IW needs to patch the hole in their game. I was annoyed when people started glitching under the levels in WaW and I'm annoyed by people who think it's fun to get kills using the javelin glitch. That's on IW, not Sony.

In Canada this week Brutal Legend, Dragon Age: Origins and NFS: Shift are all selling for around $40. All good choices for anyone looking for a good deal. I grabbed Brutal Legend. It's not bad so far.

@MKRed: As va_bank says, they don't appear to be sticking to the source material anyway. Surely they could craft some sort of "continued adventures of" sort of thing if they saw an opportunity for a few dollars. Works for me as long as the game doesn't suck. Looks like we'll all have a clearer picture in a few hours when that demo drops.
