Don't act like that. We all know that is how you were in the past. We all know it, including you. I suspect that you still are anyways, PS3 or no PS3.
Anyways, I can't find anything to really comment on about this, and I never can. I don't understand how to some people these comparisons represent major differences between the versions of the games. In reality, when the game is in motion and you are sucked into it, even the larger differences tend to disappear because you are focu...
...And yet it will generally be ignored by the masses of gamers who believe that a review score of 80-89 equals crap.
I can really see it happening. Sad.
Everyone needs to support these guys with their money, especially after all the sh*t we know they've gone through to get this game to us.
I stopped reading right there. I don't care what this idiot's argument is--its entirely wrong, based solely on the fact that a game rated R18 is intended for sale to ADULTS, not CHILDREN.
She basically wants games to adapt for HER bad parenting, otherwise she should have no issue with ADULT games being directed towards ADULTS. What a disgusting example of human ignorance.
I absolutely hated Vista, and will admit that I believed that Microsoft couldn't really recover... but... damn, Windows 7 is great. There's a couple changes from XP that I am still having a bit of trouble getting used to (mostly related to the Aero), but overall I would call myself "very satisfied."
Guess I'm eating some humble pie now. Oh well, pie is pie. :D
God of War III is inevitably going to be number 1 for many people, including myself; but I believe that Just Cause 2 is right up there with it since I have never had as much pure, unadulterated fun in a game since the days of Vice City.
Now that is how you do a sandbox game--it is easily the best sandbox game this gen.
It definitely deserved higher than 9th place!
I never did understand this--why exactly was a lawsuit allowed to go through in the first place? It's ridiculous. Not only did the minigame feature absolutely NO nudity, but it was hidden enough so that if you didn't want to view it, you didn't have to.
So many films feature explicit nudity, sex, and even rape, yet I bet the morons who filed this lawsuit lap that sh*t without a second thought. Disgusting.
I guess some people will do anything for an easy $5 though. -....
It certainly is touched up a bit, but there is really no major difference. What you see in photo mode is what you basically get in game, minus some added special effects to touch up the photos/replay and make them prettier (not that they need to be hahaha).
Come on man, you should have known better than to shell out $150 for a game that some would have difficulty picking up at $30. Guess you learned your lesson though, huh? Better late than never, at least.
Don't fall into these traps--the extra goodies are a lot of times not worth the price.
Yeah, I play GTA IV. I do see criminals running past me as well, but if the officer manages to arrest them and I hear him read the charges, it is always for petty offenses (stolen wallet, etc.).
I've never really witnessed or heard random shootings though, or at least from what I can remember. Player to player experiences will always differ though, so that's okay.
Your point about witnessing the crimes is good as well, and I agree with that. It's just that you can fe...
Liberty City must seriously be one of the safest cities I've ever seen. Sure there is the extremely rare carjacking, lots of drug flow, and gangs, but outside of that--literally the ONLY person causing trouble is the player. You never see homicides or muggings unless its mission related, but in that case, once again its your fault.
You can pull up to housing estates in an exotic car, wearing an expensive suit, and carrying hundreds of thousands of dollars, and nobody even gives y...
" 12 year old here ".
I am."
lol
You're not even old enough to play T-rated games, so what are you doing attempting (and failing) to discuss Heavy Rain? You obviously don't know what you're talking about, and it shows. A story at its most basic level may lay the primary focus on words, but any good story takes those words can creates backing visuals. The human mind CAN create a general picture, but it needs to be given the true, minute details--t...
Honestly dude, there are enough HARDCORE gamers complaining that their attention spans are too short to enjoy Heavy Rain. How do you expect someone that is used to sitting down and playing 10 minutes worth of casual games "to pass the time" to enjoy Heavy Rain?
And you analogy about books is just plain stupid. Of course books have visuals you fool, they create them by DESCRIPTION. That's the only way they can create a living picture, and it works well because it is suit...
First off, this guy is one of the reasons why gamers never get taken seriously. Really, wtf.
Second, he is ENTIRELY wrong in his assumption that Heavy Rain was made for casual gamers. Do any of you seriously think that casual gamers would have the patience to sit through the slower moments and cutscenes? No, they wouldn't. And even if it was a "casual" game, that does not automatically mean that it belongs on the Wii. This guy obviously lives by preconceived notions; fa...
It's very typical and boring, but I guess it is really the game inside that counts.
Though I would like to see the European boxart: it seems to be becoming a trend of publishers to believe that we Americans can't comprehend or appreciate anything more than the most cliche and basic boxart while they give Europeans the more inspired and creative versions of boxart. >.<
I hate Gamestop as much as the next guy... but this lawsuit is just silly.
What does he expect them to do, modify the boxart for every single used game that advertises DLC? It's HIS fault for not doing the proper research before purchasing the game, nothing more to be said about it.
Stupid consumers don't deserve these sorts of "rights" that they think are automatically granted to them; and trust me, this guy is a prime example of a stupid consumer.
Yeah they really couldn't have picked anyone LESS qualified to discuss this issue, and a TOTAL hypocrite to boot.
It's pathetic really; you have to give props to the man attempting to have a reasonable discussion with these scum, but it also makes more apparent the ignorance and stupidity of the people involved. The masses will never rise above the close-minded ignorance... they disgust me. Outside of the media, as well, it is nigh impossible to have a reasonable discussion on th...
Trouble is that you're only beast BECAUSE of the killstreaks. It has nothing to do with you being excellent at the game.
There's no point in playing it.
We've got a host who is only known for work on a GARDENING show, an ignorant actress who has actually lended her voice to a horror video game in the past (what a hypocrite) and an old man who writes for THE SUN.
And then there's the audience. Jesus christ.
I think it is not the videogames that influence violence, but these morons that incite us against them with their narrow-minded and foolish views. And the general public--did you know that the majority of western c...
Hahahahahahahaha. No. Nice try at stealth trolling, better luck next time.
Dead Rising 1 was one of the few games that made me wish I had a 360. I'm so glad that this is coming to the PS3 ^.^
