Real GOTY quality, all right.
-.-
As someone who has put over 100 hours into Mercs 2 and loved every minute of it, I have to say: I'm pretty excited for The Saboteur. But then again, I'm an absolute sucker for open world games.
I don't know, we'll see. The game is averaging around an 8, I think, which is my cutoff point for spending $60.
...are modern settings turning into the new WWII? I'd actually prefer Medal of Honor to go explore WWII some more (there are still battles and stories that have gone untold, despite the apparent saturation of the market) instead of modern warfare. Hell, maybe even something like Vietnam or the Korean War. In fact, why do these games have to involve America at all? There are so many other wars with great potential to make a fun and original game out there.
Screw this and screw Cal...
It's the same with every simulator. Racing sims, flight sims (especially flight sims), train sims, etc etc etc. all have hundreds of addons.
Nothing to really be surprised about; I know many simmers who have spent thousands on beefing up one particular sim. It is a hobby, after all.
Far Cry 2 wasn't bad, after all. There were some pretty disappointing issues but I feel that they were blown out of proportion -- it was still a decent game... If you played with the right mindset (sneaking around stealthily and taking time to play things out was always fun).
I have hopes for the 3rd to be incredible.
And Sony is also assuming that you don't take things literally, like an idiot.
Protip: 90% of marketing lines are BS. Get used to it; it's nothing new and pretty much EVERY company exaggerates here and there in order to get a message across to consumers or make a catchy phrase/jingle.
I find it hard to believe that you could be so naive.
Star Wars: Battlefront was great, The Saboteur looks great, and Mercenaries 1 was great. I was looking forward to seeing if Pandemic could get their sh*t together to bring the Mercs series back on track; there was so much potential for a great 3rd game.
Guess not now. :(
GT5 releases in March ONLY for Japan. Nothing else has been confirmed, and I personally expect an April or May release for the rest of the world.....
Sooooo.... that leaves FFXIII and GOW 3, both of which cater to different crowds (for the most part).
Sounds good to me.
lol
So yeah, I can't believe how much BS comes spouting out of Microsoft's PR offices... They border on blatant lies (like the above which was said a few weeks ago). They remind me of Sony back at the start of this gen, and we all know where that sort of bullish ignorance got them.
Just play GT4 and you will see the MINIMUM level of tuning that must be in GT5. Tuning is one of the many things that GT excels at.
There goes innovation flying out the door. Just as EA was starting to look up (content wise, at least) as well... A very big shame indeed.
Your spelling was pretty much correct (grammar is another story though), and unless English is your native language, you shouldn't be worried about anybody giving you a hard time.
:D
Oh, and to conform with everyone else: IW sucks. Lol
...GameStop can handle any lost customers (hell, they deserve it), but mom-and-pop shops are going to have a much harder time taking the hit that they will now be getting from customers dropping orders and going to GameStop instead.
A WHOLE 2,000 UNITS!!!! YESSSS!! SUCCESS
<3
:)
I thought that "it only does everything" was some made up slogan to be spouted around by the fanboys here at N4G.
Needless to say, when I saw it in a commercial, I was surprised.
Sony taking hints from N4G? LOL, I would kill myself. Nah, some of these pathetic idiots DO have some good ideas from time to time. :D
If you have found the GTA games to be boring, then maybe it just isn't your thing. I doubt R* would make any radical changes to the series that made them successful, unless it stops selling, which I doubt will happen.
After seeing that AMAZING concept art, I'm sort of let down by these screenshots. They really fail to capture that strange, dark, moody, and even creepy atmosphere that the art had.
I mean, for a Wii game it does look decent, but the ATMOSPHERE is not there.
A real comedian. Keep up the good jokes!
They will have a UK track such as Silverstone or something playable, like how they had the Tokyo track playable for TGS.
Probably not, but that would be pretty cool...
Comment from Sterling straight from his review of The Saboteur: "Also, butthurt Assassin's Creed 2 fanboys need to stop polluting my lovely review of the better game."
LOL, that's professional all right.
>.<
