I have to say, I was very very very skeptical about Modern Warfare 2 until I actually bought my own copy (instead of playing other's), and the multiplayer is pretty addicting. Even then, though, I was still skeptical to how anybody could consider it GOTY quality.
But it does have it's (major) problems. Matchmaking is utter sh*t (put me in a game on the loosing side and with 10 seconds left will you? F*ck you IW) and so is spawning. And it looks like a PS2 game at points. And the ...
I'm not much of a name guy so I just took the name of the city I live closest to and stuck an "a" on the back to make it original. Actually, my name begins with an "a" so let's say that it was intentional. Yeah, intentional.
Either way, I think it worked out well. Maybe.
:p
Meh, a gift's a gift. It's not like he paid for it. Really, I'd be happy to get ANYTHING for Christmas.
;)
At least we Americans can communicate properly and have an IQ greater than that of a tadpole. But then again, I'm just using you as my basis.
-.-
...But don't all games made to HD standards lose detail and clarity on SD sets? It's 2009. Games are being made to 720/1080p standards, not 420.
Maybe the author should stick to the PS2 if it bothers him so much...
Psst... This content here is dependent on the users. If it isn't up to your standards, then you only have yourself to blame for not making efforts to contribute high quality material.
Excuse me, but I'll take an interactive medium which gives me between 7-100 hours of enjoyment over a disconnected experience worth only 2-3 hours of enjoyment any day.
Vgchartz is useful to get a good basis for what the actual numbers will look like, but nobody should take them seriously. I don't think anybody can dispute that the PS3 had a killer week though.
BTW: Nice username, submitter. ;)
Totally different markets... But then again, it's pretty much impossible to be sure of anything you say because of your atrocious use of punctuation...
...You are high.
That is all. Good night.
...But Jesus Christ, I thought that punctuation was universal. If your command of punctuation is equivalent to your skills on the track, it's no wonder that you aren't able to enjoy GT.
By the way, if you had a single brain cell left in your head maybe you would realize that the time trial looks worse because you are comparing a 200 MB demo which has been compressed to hell to a retail game (which is still a demo, haha).
And as for Prologue not driving as well as Fo...
MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE A SH*T DRIVER.
-.-
...Did you seriously just try linking to a folder on your computer? With that level of technological sophistication, I'm frankly surprised that you were able to get online with your PS3, hell... How did you even manage to plug it in? Fail.
And I bet you are getting bad times because:
A) You don't have a wheel
B) You just suck. :p
Just because you are inept at racing sims doesn't mean the physics are bad.
"there may be some Mod Tools news coming in the future... for only $9.95!"
"The coverage begins today at 4:30pm PT / 7:30pm ET." In other words, a little under an hour and a half.
Reading can be both fun and informative! You should try it sometime.
Did they totally leave out Gran Turismo for the PSP? The only racing game in there that I can see is Motor Storm.
-.-
...So I'm not sure what you're talking about. The "early 2010" is March for Japan.
The only reason I don't play games in the summer is because there are no games to play. Seriously, with all the major releases either hitting the beginning or ending of the year, I'm actually quite glad that I will have GT5 to fill up the long summer.
I don't think you know what the word "overrated" means. A game may be good, but when it is hyped to be the next coming of Christ, good just doesn't cut it anymore.
Far too many games get more credit than they deserve, and far too few get the credit they deserve. Silly gaming media.
