...And I've got to agree with Megahurtz. There is just something magical about that first game that its predecessors just haven't been able to recapture. Don't get me wrong, all the Halo games that I've played have been great fun in co-op, and Reach looks fantastic, but Combat Evolved just has that special something that makes for a better experience.
Makes me wish my friends were still around; it's just not the same in single player or online as it was in...
But it looks like they really have greatly improved the visuals from Prologue. Very, very impressive and very, very lifelike. I'm almost drooling just imagining seeing all 850+ cars in that sort of detail; it's going to be an incredible experience. But hey, not like you can expect anything less from PD.
Your misspelling is oddly relevant and poetic.
This game really is the soul of the PS3, an experience that you can't get anywhere else. Sure PC sims may be more accurate in their physics, but damn, the atmosphere and feel and overall experience you get from a GT game absolutely cannot be matched. It really is driving at its best.
November 2nd here I come.
Kevin Butler is a paid, official spokesperson for the PS3. He appears in the advertisements, appears on stage, he's essentially part of the marketing team. Kevin Butler is one big advertisement, and Sony makes it obvious.
Here, on the other hand, these celebrities are not spokespeople, and they are not affiliated with MS in any way. Microsoft is trying to make them look as if they are genuine and CANDID opinions when they aren't. That's the big difference: candid ...
I actually expect it to release a bit earlier in Japan. Seems to be a trend for GT games, and reasonably so, seeing as PD is a Japanese developer and in a lot of ways caters to the Japanese crowd.
What is all this talk of "Forza 4"? I've got to be missing something because I've never heard a single announcement or anything (and trust me, I would), and suddenly I'm seeing this "Forza 4" everywhere. I'm a bit confused... Is it just what they demonstrated during the MS conference, because if it is, then that is a very confusing (and fail) naming scheme they have going on.
And more on topic, it may not be aimed at the hardcore, but that ...
Oh, I gotcha. The INCREDIBLY awkward wording and use of ".gifs" (which are usually animated) made me think that he wanted to somehow project an animated sequence onto the sides of the cars.
lol
But draw... animations? My brain hurts. 0_o
"gt5 should include custom .jpeg animations or .gifs u can add to vehicles"
"custom .jpeg animations or .gifs u can add to vehicles"
"animations or .gifs u can add to vehicles"
...Sorry, but... wat?
Even though you receive the items at discount, you have still paid for them and still own them, so they are yours to keep even if you cancel.
And it's actually works out quite well for Sony. People may be purchasing those stuff at heavy discounts, but remember that they will be paying a base $50 on top of that for the subscription. If this catches on, Sony will make quite a bit of money.
You lose the GAMES that you got for FREE (not including LBP, you get to keep that). Anything else such as DLC that you got at discount or for free or any games that you purchased at a discount (but didn't receive for free) you will keep even after the subscription is over.
So no, you do not lose everything if you cancel. Just freebie games.
-Day/night cycle confirmed
-Seemingly improved visuals
-Damage on production cars confirmed (if there was still any doubt)
-Test Track 100% confirmed
-NASCAR racing cars have been updated to match the changes made to the actual cars recently
-Holy crap solid release date
I've been waiting for this day a long time. And there's still plenty of more information to come, as I believe that PD is holding another conference/QA session ...
And for good reason too.
>.<
Sony announced during the conference that Move functionality will be added to existing games through patches. It would be a bit silly to have to repurchase the game.
They do show it on BBC America, but the episodes are edited for time and run several seasons behind. It seems that new episodes air looooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooong after they have come and gone in Britain.
I'm an impatient man, and prefer streaming media. :p
Might be forced to torrent this season though. I wish the BBC wasn't so stingy; Top Gear has a massive audience all over the world, especially in North America, yet what is shown on our televisions are heavily edited and a few seasons behind.
>.<
Expect to see Last Guardian at TGS. It's gonna be a bit of a wait, but I'm sure that it'll end up being more than worth it.
I've got to go searching online for ages to find an uploader of episodes. And one of the most reliable and best got shut down by the BBC. :(
So far, streetfire.com seems to be most reliable. Hopefully the uploaders will keep up with the new season, because last season I was able to watch the full episodes within a couple hours after they had aired on British television. Anyone outside of Britain should check it out when the new season airs, but I can't guarantee conti...
...But that Sorcery game ended up looking really fun, something that will appeal to both the core gamers and the more casual gamers. On that note, it's great to see that Sony is keeping focus on the core gamers rather than going all out for the casuals. The implementation of Move in games such as Killzone, LBP, Heavy Rain, Resident Evil, etc. is going to be a big selling point for many people.
The line up is definitely a hell of a lot more impressive than Kinect's, an...
Kotaku aren't the one's who stated that it might "have to much detail."
Yamauchi himself said that so I don't know what you're complaining about. -.-
