I don't like it coming down to mods having larger authority over our bubbles. I mean, let's look at it: most people complain of the rampant fanboyism on this site, and that in a large way has contributed to needing this rehaul of the bubble system. However, the problem is a lot deeper than just the end users; many mods, of whom I will not name names, DO have a visible and strong inclination to one side of the fence or another and a couple are outright fanboys.
I know ...
Yes, B-spec is absolutely vital. No way I'm driving for 24 hours straight!
It's not an odd omission at all, really. Let's face it, a team of only around 140 people tasked with building an entirely new game from the ground up just aren't going to have the time to model cockpits for 1000+ cars. It's not feasible and never was feasible. People on both sides of the fences were acting stupid about it, and in the end it's not too big of a deal. I'll take my 200 cockpits thank you very much and let the other cars speak for themselves with the amazin...
Well let's just say that I have to use my bed as a seat. You can imagine how little space I have to work with.
I also know that I'm not alone in this. I've got friends with proper gaming rooms, but still for some reason or another would be difficult or uncomfortable to stand up and perform roundhouse kicks in. Things such as this DO take a fair amount of room.
The problem, especially with the more complex moves, is that not everyone has the room for such a thing, unless they want to break some furniture. I know that I sure as hell wouldn't physically be able to play this game.
It's a SEVERE oversight on Microsoft and Kinect game developers' parts, and one that will continue to plague the machine and the games until it's time has passed.
I believe that this game and Kinect as a whole is one of those ...
If that's all you can come up with, then you must be like 7 years old with this being your first gen. It's pretty sad in a humorous way. No really, I literally lol'ed.
I'm not saying that it looks bad. I've played the first and loved it (haven't played the second though), but right now I'm not really sure how this one will hold up to it's successor. It certainly doesn't look bad (well except for the name of course :p ), but as I said it doesn't look terribly excellent either.
It all starts with the name. You can't have a truly excellent game without at least a decent name, generally speaking.
Seriously, F.3.A.R? It's a travesty!
"Embedded stream deactived until have a solution for our bandwidth issues."
You just straight up can't embed videos from Gamersyde.
Also, why do Gamersyde videos never have sound? I've always found that a bit odd.
Yeah, 3 months before the full game comes out... Hell, I'd buy it anyways to keep me satisfied until then!
Damn yeah, it really IS a good thing people like him were throwing it around... Yamauchi was actually planning on leaving karting out until GT6, but then it was leaked and we had all of these people scurrying all over it and he had no choice but to add it to GT5!
Now it probably added to the bit of a delay, but whatever, it'll be worth it. Good job, nickjkl, you and other fans managed to get us karting early. :D
Look under the names of the cars and it tells you. I find it a bit odd that it has darker windows, as well as the old Fiat 500, but they are apparently all premium.
Yeah this is pretty fucking stupid.
1) Any real gamer (i.e. not a pathetic fanboy) would be glad that more people get to experience such a great game
2)Why would 360 owners be jealous over losing a series... That isn't even 360 exclusive! The damn thing was multiplatform already, on the PC.
Just buy it on the PC. It's cheap, fun, and essential if you plan on buying the PS3 ME2 but haven't played through the first. You'll get a lot more enjoyment out of it that way.
It does seem a bit silly that they are only porting ME2... Perhaps there is a nice bundle in the works of ME1 and ME2 for a bit of an extra price for us PS3 owners? Seems plausible.
Thank you, have some bubbles!
Does anyone know when the Sony conference is? I'm in the market for a new PS3, and while it is unlikely, I don't see it as being entirely implausible... So I wouldn't want to miss out on the announcement and buy myself one right before the price drop lol.
Bubbles for whoever is helpful and lets me know :)
I'm playing through Shadow of Chernobyl for the first time, and having never given much thought to the series, I didn't really know what to expect. But wow, I'm more than impressed. It's got a unique feel to it, like a great breath of fresh air that I needed in my gaming library.
My only complaint would be that the combat feels very disconnected, but the great atmosphere more than makes up for it.
Anyone know what's going on with Kmart? This article says you get a $30 discount on the 120gb, and yesterday it was said that there is a $50 discount on the 250gb system. I checked the Kmart website and can find neither deal. Looks to me like they're BS deals.
Sure the PC offers greater graphics and more flexibility within the games themselves... But where are the actual games? I own a PS3 and decent gaming PC, yet its the PS3 exclusives that always drag me back to play them.
Sure, the PC excels in genres that consoles can never get right, and I do enjoy PC games in that regard, but the one thing I noticed about PC exclusives is that they lack the originality, the 'need-to-play' factor that many console exclusives have. Sur...
I semi-agree with you here. Games should reflect that, but only partially. By that I mean, split the playlist into 'realism modes' (one/two shot kills, etc.) and regular style.
Here is where I think that MW2 did something right, with the Hardcore modes. Basically IW did what I said above and split the playlist to satisfy everyone, and it works well.
As for single player, the harder modes of gameplay already do this to an extent, but many games need to...
