The 360's movies aren't that expensive when you factor in the time and gas it takes to run down to the nearest video store and "hope" they have the movie you want.

I never really noticed this before. The games I play usually are diverse. Unreal Tournament has a mix of players, Half Life has black scientists, Mass Effect lets you create your own, and isn't the main character in Gears black as well?

One thing I miss from the classic Zelda's is the ability to go where you wanted in the World. I think they should open it up more allowing you to gather lots more weapons outside of dungeons like in Link to the Past... and open the map up so you can traverse anywhere (maybe have some closed off until later). This is nothing new to gaming. I owned a set of glasses like those (I still do) that I bought back when I had my original Geforce 1
The image is simply doubled the glasses darken 1 eye at a time in rapid session. I used to play the first UT with those. They still work great but lead to headaches after an hour of use.
I think I only paid like $100 for the wireless glasses and they're no bigger then what he has on.
The only losers in this battle are the consumers. Upconverting doesn't look good as it would if were naively in HD. The only way I would bite is if they provided a "middle" device that connects in between existing DVD players and the TV and upconverts on the fly.
If they can make it work with existing DVD players and TV's with an inexpensive "addon" then it might work.
