it looks pretty cool I think. I doubt i'll buy this because, again, the motion controls aren't mapped 1-1. So basically you frantically wail your arms around so your character produces 2 or 3 slash attacks.

But appearance does look pretty neat. I like the way it sits on the hand grips.

The bad thing is that I don't see any IR sensors... which makes it stupid. The IR sensors allow you to have a "mouse" alternative and allow point and click. I could be wrong...

that would be like having MGS4 released for the 360 after bashing it during cut scenes and the likes.

Funny how people put a spin on everything.

While I find your comments very funny, they are completely off topic and in the wrong zone I believe.

As far as these accessories... sad

I can't wait for the youtube videos of hot chicks using this one. Beats WiiFit hands down.

<sarcasm>I'm sure that just because Master Chief makes an appearance it will sell an additional 3 million copies.</sarcasm>

Are you kidding me. People don't buy games because of a stupid little easter egg. Fable 2 will sell itself based upon the great name it set for itself in the original Fable.

The Wiimote + Nunchuck has lots of buttons actually. The nunchuck has 2 triggers + a Analog stick... and the Wiimote has 1, 2, +, -, A, B, and a dpad... which typically act as 4 separate buttons.

Wiimote = 6 buttons
Nunchuck = 2

Right there you have the WiiMote+Nunchuck having more buttons then a typical controller. And trust me games can use any one of those buttons to their bidding. Super Smash bros used the D-Pad as 4 separate buttons to use in conjunction w...

didn't you read the title of the thread you were posting in?

They already have TOO much control already. Games are suppose to be fun. Games are also played by all ages. Consoles need variety. Already games are rated by their maturity levels... what more do you need?

Was this released today? It sounds like it from the article, but I can't find much online about its release

I thought one of the key features was its online play.

There was a preview on this posted on my site a long time ago with a video.

This is all under the assumption that Microsoft doesn't do anything. Live has the online edge hands down. Live is one of the major characteristics that make the 360 so great. Microsoft isn't going to sit there and let anyone walk right pass them.

And you know its easier to copy then to innovate. This is the only reason the PSN has advanced so quickly.

The sad thing is Sony doesn't have the ground work to have cross-compatible voice chatting and such. Sony leaves thi...

I already have Chrono Trigger on my Wii as a Virtual Console Channel.

They got tons of new IPs on the 360. Infinite Undiscovery is one coming out. And wasn't Lost Odyssey from one of Square's smaller offices? It had lots of Final Fantasy similarities.

There is another IP coming out as well for the 360 but I forgot its name.

In Game on the 360, the developer can do anything when you get an achievement. The game responds to the achievement and then a little pop-up saying how many gamer points that achievement was worth.

Just like in Lost Odyssey (a final-fantasy-like RPG), achievements are gained by finding rare items, getting multiple "100%" hits, or completing side-quests. There are even several for "finding all spells" and "collecting all items" which would be extremel...

The 360 was out 2 years before the PS3. So Microsoft will introduce their next console long before the next Sony Console.

The sad thing is that it probably won't be very much longer. Then the new MS console will be THE console to own.

But consoles never cease to amaze me. Just look at some of the current PS2 games. You'd be surprised at what they can crank out and tweak.

Hopefully Sony lowers the dev kits or no one will unlock the PS3's full potential.

don't you guys read any articles here at N4G?

360 Lineup
Gears 2
Fable 2
Banjo-Kazooie
Infinite Undiscovery
The Last Remnant
Too Human
Forza 2
Halo Wars

Tons of great games in there. There is also Viva Pinata 2, but I don't know about that one. Also Square also has Star Ocean coming out in 2009.

your whole argument is horribly wrong.

PS3 sales is still behind the 360. If you are looking at sales per month and completely disregarding that the amount of 360's ALREADY in homes, then your ignorant. Of course sales will be lower. You are comparing 2 highly sought after machines, one being older then the other.

As far as what the 360 includes, well gaming on WiFi is retarded because of the nature of WiFi and its horrible latency. Any hardcore gamer will always cho...

Thats something most Sony Fanboys fail to realize is that EVERYONE already has/had a 360. The 360 came out so early that most people already own a 360 and have since ALSO purchased a PS3.

If you think about it, with the 360's already large install base already implanted, it is quite impressive that they still sell this many consoles.

The PS3 is new and since it was released so late, many gamers have had time to save up to buy another console.

Everyone ...

Too Human doesn't interest me at all. The others do though.

Gears2, Undiscovery, and Fable 2 are on my plate.

Game Genie on the nintendo was awesome. I pimped out Super Mario Bros 3 which allowed Mario to be constantly a Hammer Brother and allowed Moon Walking (infinite jump) which made the game real fun (as in different).

Cheats like this add replay value. Other times they can ruin a game.

Half Life is ruined by cheats. Using a cheat once ruins the game completely but this is my opinion.

It does suck that cheats aren't as popular as they were. I loved searching...

I did notice that environmental effects were absent in the PS3 version (rain, snow, lava dust, etc)

That video comparison was horrible anyway. There was only 1 or 2 scenes that played exactly the same... but they played 1 right after another instead of side by side.

The only thing I could see aside from the weather effects was the graphics looked blurrier on the PS3 and the contrast was adjusted and the image was sharper on the 360.

I dunno. I LOVE the U...
