wtf. that sucks. The image in the preview looks really grainy.
I'm sad. One of the few games that interested me on the PS3 and it failed. I think the gameplay idea was very unique and coulda been really good.
As a GAMER I hate to see any "thought-to-be-good-games " fail.
I want FFVII on my 360! Lets vote to make that happen!
Wii's do this all the time...
I shoulda bought one to resell. I bet ebay is busy tonight.
I noticed the outage on Amazon this afternoon which lasted several seconds. I doubt it had little to do with the PS3 sales. Amazon is a huge site and can withstand the strongest of Christmas sales and lightening deals on a daily basis.
I am glad to see them selling so well but I work on data networks all day... plus it happened at like 3pm or so.
Whats the gameplay like? Resident Evil 3rd person, or is it a point and click, next scene, MYST type of game?
lmao you can do that on Xbox live all day. Its called "mute player". When I play Halo 3 and some squirly mouthed 12 year old is just yacking his jaws... I don't hesitate to shut him up. Whats the big deal?
If someone team kills you, it asks if you want to boot the player or ignore the action.
It has nothing to do with Live... it has something to do with being behind a monitor (TV). Just like a barking dog behind a glass car window.
Games are competitive and competitiveness bring this out of people. It's on every aspect that allows the person to safely speak their mind without any immediate consequences.
The PS3 is not exempt from this.
That site has the wrong source. Hudson's website isn't www.hudson.com its http://www.hudsonentertainm...
Still good though. I can't wait. I love bomberman so I'll be buying the full fledged Wii Title.
I agree the color looks great on the PS3... but the game is Quake Wars... lol its suppose to be dark and eerie.
Bright blue rays of sunshine never complimented the Quake series.
They should tone down the colors in the PS3 version a little and add some color to the 360 version.
The 360 version is darker but has more architectural components to the buildings and telephone wires and such.
The environment looks nicer on the PS3 (sky and ground) but it is horribly blocky with no filtering what-so-ever. It is also missing certain things in the maps what are in the 360 version.
I'm sure these pictures are the final build and the PS3 might be further behind then the 360. At this point I'd say it's a washup. Both systems have their visual flaws. <...
The situation is a bad one to be in. It really sucks to upgrade a system and still required to play the old one.
On the front page there is rumor of a BC Software emulation due out in october by way of a firmware upgrade. I don't see why Sony would include BC in all the SKU's at least in software.
You would also think that Sony, when taking out the Hardware BC chip, would enable themselves to replace it later as an upgrade. I dunno I'm not an engineer, but I hope S...
Why not do it through Virtual Console anyway. I bought the Sega Saturn at launch (I know, I know) and the games were fun for it'd day. The graphics were on par with a Playstation 1 but it had some neat games like "Bug!" and Panzer Dragoon.
The Wii officially supports many consoles already and can support even more through Homebrew. There are tons of emulators on the Wii through Homebrew already, most support the WiiMote and/or GC controllers. So the code to allow built...
They are just upgrading it to a faster WiMax which allows a faster transfer rate.
This is basically like doing a remote desktop while your PC is playing a game. Today it works great for non-fast moving games and games where timing isn't an issue. RPG's and card games usually work fine.
Today this works, but with the bandwidth contraints we find Video is jerky and input is lagged. Here is the reason why it lags:
Something happens in a game. The visuals g...
There are lots of stupid games on Xbox Live. There are also tons of good games. Who cares if they remove a few games that never get downloaded or played.
The games can still be redownloaded via Download History. And the game will continue to function normally. So whats the big deal?
I rented the game when it was first released. I prolly got through the majority of it when I returned it. Wasn't really all that great.
If you want a great first person shooter with a awesome story, get the Half-Life series.
I bought Symphony of the Night on Xbox Live and I mostly played it out of my 360 library (containing halo3, COD4, gears).
The game is fun.
I hope they bring something like "The New Super Mario" on the DS where it is a 3D title, in a side scrolling fashion (which they need a new 3D side scrolling Mario title also).
There is something about a side scrolling platformer that makes me groovy.
The problem was that HP installed a version of Windows that had Intel chipset drivers installed running an AMD chipset. They ran into the exact same problems with SP2... and now SP3. So basically:
HP is the original person to blame for screwing up the installs and instead of fixing it, they just covered it up with AMD drivers.
Microsoft is the one to blame now since it was a known problem and should have checked to see if conflicting hardware exists, patch drivers, a...
No way this game is a 2. I'm not a BIG fan of DragonBallZ, but I did get into for a while (my x-gf's older brother would watch it religiously). I know it well enough to be familiar with the characters and the story (somewhat).
Anyway, I was watching the video on this today at Gamestop and was thinking, "Wow that looks awesome".
I think this reviewer just sucks.
