So glad it's not cross-gen. Harmonix have been pretty smart about this series from the get-go. Of course I would not be surprised if Activision showed up again and started pooping out biannual guitar hero titles.
That's the dream but I'm doubtful. It's a little old to be ported again. But with a graphical overhaul like WoW got... wow that would be something else.
People say that but I can go back and play games like Halo 2, Shadow of the Colossus/Ico, and plenty of other games. I'm too lazy to go on. Nintendo isn't the only one. Even just looking at last generation, there were far more timeless, artistic games on the ps3 than the Wii. I'd argue Flower and Journey were two of the best games in this category.
I'll beg with you. My Xbox friend won't buy it. Says he's sick of platformers. He's looking into getting Hardline instead. I know... What a fool.
Artificial scarcity?
Unfortunately they would. Better to not give them more bad ideas than they already have.
I feel like a lot of these low-end reviewers base the games the review heavily on what's available for free on PS Plus lol. I should start a site up.
FF8 and 9 are heading to PS4 for the humble price of $20 a piece. They added more chocobos.
Hope not. That doesn't even make my wish list. Not even my HD remaster wish list. Although it could be logical from a technical standpoint. HD remakes of the PS1, NES, and SNES games are kind of impossible to do without recreating the games from scratch.
Yeah from what I've heard. Wages are generally higher in Europe so it evens out somewhat. Canada also has a higher tax on every product sold when compared with most countries. Sitting at 13% I believe. It's only 5 in the US. Not sure about Europe though.
Same. I wish our dollar wasn't so bad. I won't be buying full priced games for awhile. Some games are still reasonable though. On Amazon uncharted 4 pre-orders are 63 and bloodborne is sitting around 67. Might be worth jumping on the uncharted pre-order people, just I'm case our dollar goes to hell and back.
It's like detox. If it ever happens it will probably be a let down. That's the thing about taking your time. The hype seems to continue to build in all the die-hard fans despite the product actually just being stuck in limbo and not progressing at all.
We still need to wait on Fat Princess and Rime and The Witness and others. I'm assuming PS4 Journey won't get counted.
Waiting patiently for reviews so I can ignore them. I haven't seen anything bad about this game. The fast-paced combat especially looks way more fun than the often sluggish combat from Demon's Souls, which I still enjoyed immensely (this is coming from someone who uses the greatsword in Monster Hunter).
Saw the complete version of this going for $120. Shat my pants. More like I'll pay 30 and we'll call it a BF4 expansion.
Look into playing Persona 4. Your hype level could skyrocket for this year if you end up being in the majority who thoroughly enjoy the game.
I find it sadder that people have been paying out the butt to game on Xbox the past few generations only to be lead down a road filled with overpriced proprietary peripherals, paid online, and exclusives that dry up half way through the console cycle. The paid online specifically has had a negative impact on console gaming as a whole while Sony has made Games with Gold a reality. Think about that.
Also, at least Sony and Nintendo have built up a series of artistic first-party...
And like delays=vaporware or something. It's ND. Their last game was delayed and was universally perceived as a masterpiece. The game will come, the generation is still young. No one is worked up about games that were delayed from last generation. It doesn't matter at all in hindsight. The game will sell. The game will move systems. It's inevitable.
I feel like the headings are always geared more toward attracting heat rather than properly reflecting the news. I guess that's the mark of a good gaming journalist.
I'm surprised there's going to be another expansion. The game is already so old and has a ridiculous amount of areas and content. I guess I was surprised when they released Seekers of Aldouin though too. I really think FFXIV needs to get on XI's level in terms of content and scope. Even the original game with no expansions had a ton going on. Sometimes it feels like XIV is working with a skeleton crew or something.
