Great series. Poor release timing for sure.
Deserved. Type 0 doesn't really deserve a buy until the price goes down and I say that as a hardcore FF/RPG fan. The only reason it will probably have good sales overall is because of the demo trap. I'd rather wait for the full game though. It's probably going to end up being a very different experience by release anyway.
That's usually how it goes. Journalists start by trying to prove something relatively arbitrary (especially at this point). In this case statistics are used, but there is still a lot wrong with metacritic's system. Then complete the nearly pointless observation article with a click-bait title which often implies the opposite of the article's message. Put a bow on it. Leave it at someone's doorstep on fire so that said person can step on it. Congratulations. You are now a journ...
Yeah not expecting anything until Easter. Might be a good flash sale. Have never cared for batman personally. My backlog is probably too big to be concerning myself with sales anyway. It's actually disgusting even on one of my 3 PS systems.
Ew
All of these slow news days are getting to me. I need april's plus games to get announced or something. Coming to n4g has been a waste of time for almost 2 weeks (whenever bloodborne came in and annhialated the critics).
I think hype killed the order more than anything. Most people probably approached it with the mindset that it would be PS4's gears but with an actually good/original story and atmosphere.
The order might be PS4's Ryse, but at least it gets more right than just the graphics. Imo it's the superior game despite the reviews being the same. And yes ryse was teared apart for a few weeks tops. The order is going on its third month soon and has had way more articles.
No, but there is a difference between giving a game a solid 7 or so and just slapping on a score below a 5 because of something that bothered you. That's not even logical. I swear some AAA games get passes because of production values while some get judged more harshly for them.
Except that precisely half of these games have already been free if you have plus. And even some of the big AAA exclusive games have been available for 10 or less during sales. So really, building up a library like this costs even less than steam, assuming you already had a PS3 or PS4 in the mix. And if you have one of those plus has been a logical purchase since the beginning.
Killer apps for me are P4G, Tearaway, and LBP. Unfortunately one is a remaster, one is being remastered, and one is very similar to its console brothers. Missing GoW, GTA, and MH like the PSP had.
Resolution is a graphical property. I get what you're trying to get across, but it's not necessarily true.
In before "sony pays for timed exclusives too!"
/end sarcasm (this basically ruins the point imo)
Hardly a deal. You call Sony Japan helping with development and Sony publishing an exclusivity deal? What are you on?
@starchild
Wow. The situations aren't even slightly comparable.
Agreed it's a great system. It is also nice having BC. I've been playing Twilight Princess lately and it's a decent entry in the Zelda franchise. Definitely no OoT, MM, or WW, but still pretty great.
That would be hardcore, but I'm not holding my breath. U4 is the last game, but the series is too lighthearted to pull a stunt like.
And MC can't die without making a sixth game. Would kind of screw with the concept of having a new trilogy that started with 4.
For racing games? Since when? I'm going to hope the reason isn't vibrating triggers.
They are mostly reliable on .ca...except for when someone reviews the product as if they are reviewing the shipment/delivery process.
Wow vita has been doing well. That's good news. Sony could easily redeem the system if they put some effort into it.
