You make a valid point. The game wouldn't really suffer from the inclusion of an easy mode. I could see it not being compatible with the online aspect though. Unless easy played with easy and there was an option to fully turn off invasions while still allowing for co-op (only in easy). That would be the ultimate accessibility improvement for the series.
Yeah the whole situation just seems unprofessional. I would be fine with it if his tone wasn't so posses off and he even takes to offending the game (insulting blood echoes and calling the cleric Brady's arm a masterbation arm). If you take those aspects out and this released AFTER the review as an antithesis of sorts it would have been okay.
Yeah my friend with an Xbox has been jealous literally every month for one reason or another. First it was outlast, then Isaac, then transistor, then oddworld, then resogun and Infamous. The list goes on.
Not sure where the disagreeing fools are springing from. Maybe they need to re-evaluate the lists for every month so far. They pretty much let the competitions merits go over their head on purpose and just assume GWG is actually decent.
In other words the X1 line up is pretty mediocre and indie-focused while the 360 line up is decent. We've seen tons of amazing PS3 line ups though and far better PS4 line ups despite the small library. I would say ps plus has been amazing every month since December so far. The best thing x1 has gotten is guacamelee and rayman..both are kind of old platformers. Ps4 has had a retail game, infamous first light, and most of the highest rated indies on the market.
I expect this article to get some heat. People on IGN have been raging for hours. I read through it and pretty much came to the conclusion that the guy is a tool. His tone is really bitter and it's weird because he mentions a few difficult games that he plays. In reality, from games aren't nearly as difficult as they get hyped to be. They are just relatively difficult because modern games are far too easy. I jumped into demons souls and beat a lot of the bosses in one try. Imo monster...
Give this man a job. It looks like an official remake for Wii U almost.
Binding of Isaac, Transistor, and Infamous for sure.
I'd also say Rogue Legacy and Geometry Wars 3. not sure if it counts but Flower is still fantastic too.
Oh and I personally liked Wolf Among Us just as much as The Walking Dead. I think it just felt more fresh. The Walking Dead has been undergoing the most rigorous milking ever since the show hit about Season 3 or 4. I don't even watch it anymore. It's just a dragged out version of the comic a...
It's also not a game that would cater to most gamers or even most RPG fans. It could be great in its own right, but it is ultimately an old-school experience that doesn't really have mass appeal. I personally hate games that are all about point and click and micromanaging units or characters. That's the difference between PC gamers and most other gamers. It's like separating people who like MMOs, starcraft and league of legends from people who like every other kind of game.
The rarity levels were definitely my favourite thing they added. I always feel like the man when I get something with less than 1 percent. Especially if it's a popular game.
Yeah I have games I never even played tainting my list. Someone played Dead Rising on my PS3 apparently.
This article though... almost pointless. I could have guessed how to do this. It's the same as every delete process ever.
You pretty much described 99% of DLC. It's a cash grab. At least it exists though. If it didn't, some games might have gone up 10 to 20 dollars.
Troll article confirmed. Jesus. The amount of poor practices that MS pioneers and condones the most... and I continually see Sony take the fall for them. Live brought us paid online. PS plus brought GWG. Just remember that. The pattern has been pretty obvious.
Yes it definitely seems like a waste of money in an industry that needs money to develop new ideas. With just timed exclusives, there would hardly be a difference between the consoles outside of the power of the hardware, the features of the software, and the controller.
I thought it was a bigger deal when Bethesda shat the bed on Skyrim and Fallout 3 DLC for PS3, but even those times passed and proved meaningless. True Exclusives like MGS4 and Uncharted 2 were definitely way better selling points.
Another amazing score. Dat 93 could be sticking around, but who knows what will happen when IGN and some others surface. Still so amazing for a From game. I'm happy for them. This could be their greatest success yet.
Yeah unreal engine 3 always sucked for that. It's one of the things that kind of detracted from games like gears visually. The resolution difference is certainly great though. It is sad though that the PS4/X1 versions dont have the PhysX aspects from the PC version.
I'd like to say this is worth every penny. Its only that BL2 has been free, the pre-sequel has been cheap, and the dlc is not that worthwhile. Will wait for price drop for sure. Bloodborne is something I...
Yeah they kind of dropped the ball with the execution of this. I suppose the space would be taken up no matter what due to mandatory installs but for most people 8 or 16 GBs is hardly a fast download.
Stoked to play it
The guy who gave up lol.
There are a lot of people saying thanks for saving me 60 dollars on IGN but I suspect the majority are Xbox trolls. The games not that hard. GTA and COD can be challenging at times and they break sales records. Not sure why this game needs to be demonized solely (see what I did there).
