Still plenty of reasons to play the ps4 with bloodborne and persona 5 and many others on the way. That and the unnannounced game or two that will surely come.
Besides I think the Wii u has the must play games as well this year.
I'm not holding my breath for fable legends and tomb raider is timed and quantum is likely delayed so like last year I'm hoping the x1 crowd are huge halo fans.
I'm really hoping for a Bethesda release t...
I am also among the crowd that thinks this would be a great game to bundle with a remaster of the original (it could even be a port for all I care). I'm sure a lot of people didn't play the first and it's hard to go back to an older system and pick up a game for it at this point. They did it with bayonetta and wkc, so it's a viable business option.
The evil within actually has solid graphics although the animations (like with most games after playing a ND game) leave much to be desired. It doesn't look as good as the order or even earlier games like killzone, infamous, and ryse but I found it to look better than a lot of other multiplatform games. Maybe I'm just blind though and I haven't been diagnosed yet.
Exactly. It's the same with games like resogun, journey, fat princess, etc. It's just one of those games the other systems won't see unfortunately.
Yeah this is sounding like a really good game. I love when smaller downloadable titles come into the mix and become more critically acclaimed than the bigger releases. It's like getting a AAA game at a fraction of the price (just subtract the AAA graphics and add a AAA art style).
Yeah if anything it did an amazing job last year and xenoblade and Zelda have it cued up to do amazing again. We are also still seeing other exclusives this year like Kirby, star Fox, yoshi, and splatoon. Could kill for a Mario or Zelda remaster as well as an animal crossing or something great from next level games.
All of the biggest nintendo franchises really lend themselves to a less realistic graphical approach (even Zelda although I love a gritty and realistic Zelda game). That said Nintendo can get away with having less horsepower.
I have also noticed a trend with their sales strategies. I believe they get the consoles out into the market for as cheap as they can (at the cost of lower specs) and then they capitalize heavily on their vast array of first party games. And these will s...
I wonder when the deal ends... Going multiplatform would be great for the franchise.
That's what I would assume but they would be obligated to dramatically improve the graphics for the Wii u version I would think. Could cost a lot or maybe they are in the process of making a new engine?
Love how SSOD gets way more mentions than LBP3. Neither game was mind blowing but both were solid experiences. Yet SSOD gets all the attention despite being far from Insomniac's best work.
The build quality is solid now. It was just the initial batches had that defect. The battery life is definitely a problem though. Considering the Wii u pro controller advertises 80 hours and is a lot lighter too. But its rumble is terrible and there's no lightbar or speaker I guess.
If it's any consolation for the reboot...dmc4's story was absolutely retarded as well.
All this speculation. Capcom officially said they didn't need a Wii u version because of the 3ds having it's own online. In reality they have been extremely cheap about this series since the beginning. The graphics have barely improved across iterations and they have recycled massive amounts of content throughout the franchise. By not producing a Wii u version they were able to use the same graphics engine (saving money) and did not have to develop a more expensive high def version fo...
There are very few 3rd party games that I care about these days anyway. I hate CoD, BF, and AC and most of the new IPs this gen have been nothing special. I will definitely get the next Bethesda game on my PS4 but besides that I feel like I'll be buying all Wii U and PS4 exclusives.
Yeah... talk to us when Xbox servers are impenetrable as well. Also when Games with Gold manages to become half as good as PS+ (it's still not even halfway there in quantity or quality). Or when Xbox gets the same amount of sharing/streaming options. Dedicated servers were even used on the PS3. I have yet to understand what live users have been paying for other than just cross-game chat on the 360 these past 15 years. That's a lot of money for one feature that has just as much to do w...
I agree it should be free even though I will always be subscribed to plus. I am just hoping that the money can go towards servers more and perhaps the occasional awesome PS+ game. Fingers crossed for more announcements relating to the company's servers at E3 or something.
It's basically an economical bundle. Like getting TLoU PS4 or something. Can't really complain although people should just get a bundle that's with a $60 game and then pick up the collection for less than that.
Sounds legit. My friend needs to buy more controllers in that case.
I,IV,VI, and XI are some of my favourites. Would put all of them over VIII, X-2, XII, and XIII for comparison's sake.
My guess is Microsoft will end up with an extra (timed) exclusive for this fall and people will lose it and say Microsoft has all the games despite their 8 month drought. Then we'll see another 8 month drought while U4 and another exclusive or two hit the ps4 in the first half of 2016. I'm fine with that though. I game all year long and actually have less time to game Q4.
