I think the problem is it has been the same game this whole time. The story somehow managed to go more downhill though amazingly. It still gets enough sales to justify the milk I guess.
I'm more interested in seeing the world and the variety of content it offers. These two features are pretty meh imo and will be taken for granted after an hour or two.

Yeah the only ones I can give credit to are the Disgaea games and Ys was half decent although pretty boring and repetitive. Most of the RPGs I play on it are PSP or PSone games actually. There's some gold to be had there although I would like to see PS2 games and then Birth By Sleep and Crisis Core from the PSP.
You are right. As an RPG fan I even feel alienated with the most recent releases. I have never been into the whole fan service thing. And with 14 year-olds? That's just creepy. But we've gone over this again and again on every Vita article by now. The Vita needs fresh content.
And FF6 and 9, the 4 collection, and P4. The remasters and backwards compatibility alone have made the Vita a winner for me. Kind of a shame that I've beaten most of the big exclusive releases and there's nothing on the way but it was still worth the 200 dollars. Especially with the Plus games clogging up my backlog.
For racing I have Wipeout, modnation, and Sonic Transformed so its not necessarily completely lacking. It is lacking proper AAA releases now though which is depressing since its still reasonably young and should have 3 or 4 more years of mileage left in it.
To this day the Vita is not as successful as the PSP because the differences in third and first party backing. The lack of monster hunter and GTA actually hurt it the most if you go through PSP game sales.
Nah avatar was pretty inept and as far as story telling goes. It was more about offering one gigantic visual setpiece that seemed original and artistic. It kind of succeeded in this department but nothing else about the movie really etched it in stone other than the fact that it came after Titanic. And it made lots of money. You know what else made lots of money...Call of Duty...every year.

That seems way too generous and hardly viable but they should move the cap to 5 or 10 gigs. I personally don't need or use it and haven't run out despite having many saves but I'd like an upgrade just so that it stops getting brought up. There are other improvements that are more pressing imo. Like cleaning up and adding last gen features to the OS.
Agreed. Bethesda tops Bioware for me any day of the week bugs and all. Bioware games are just too monotonous at times and how should I say...a little void of life and emotion.
Not even close. People underestimate the improvements. Fallout 3 looks horrible in comparison and even Skyrim doesn't look as good. I thought Far cry 3 was a good looking last gen game but go compare it with 4 on the new gen and its night and day.
Would buy for that price just for the PS4 streaming. Vita on the big screen is also a perk. Especially if you didn't buy a Vita yet.
How invested is he really in this iteration though. He always wanted to be done with the series and I feel like this game was more obligatory than a labour of love or passion. All of the changes in Ground Zeroes seem to point to this imo. I can wait.
Wasn't hyped after playing the crap that was Ground Zeroes. It felt like a downgrade from MGS4. Now I'm positive this is a $30 purchase for me. Still waiting for the final verdict but nothing has impressed me so far.
Between the Ratchet and Hellblade debuts and the Nathan Drake collection and all the things MS has revealed too I'm wondering what's going to be left for E3. Hopefully enough to justify all of this housekeeping.
I thought Quest for Booty was 2 to 3 hours because it was 15 dollars and Into the Nexus was like double that because it was 30 or something.
Edit: Yeah that's right. How long to Beat has it at about a six hour average time to beat. Only 11 hours for completionist. I wish this was a 20 hour R&C game because it looks amazing.
VR with something like Fallout 4 would be cool
Persona 5 is probably going to be the best JRPG of the last decade and is a follow-up to a game that was for PS2. The others will be forgotten once their sequels launch 2 years later. No split screen is a huge deal breaker for most of the people I know that play Halo. Its more than a game. Its a social event like smash bros.
This is awesome. Almost makes the countless remasters obsolete though. Wanting this on PS4 for sure now.
