Yes I suppose COD usually has split screen and 60fps. The graphics aren't as nice but clearly that is what needs to be tweaked. Or at least 30fps during split screen.
Yeah imo Halo's main draw was the ability to sit down with 3 others and go at it either offline or online. Without that I could see a decent amount of people passing on the game. There are others though who like the campaigns and just play online by themselves (less than half of the people I know but this type of Halo fan is quite pervasive I'm sure). I already know the guy that does the art on the front for most of the big games (really just organizes and lays out assets he's given) so why not?
I'll agree that fallout and TES have pretty bad combat, but there has always been something exhilaratingly comical about swing a weapon at someone like a madman while jumping like a freak. You do not want to hate the combat when you do it all the time though. Its the reason alongside an oversaturation of fetch quests that I couldn't get into DA:I.

Man U2 was already amazing. If Elena bit the dust that would have been earth-shattering. They still delivered a great story without the tragedy but imagine how dark and memorable that ending would have been.

Probably the most logical comment here, but I still feel like the Stella departure could be an indication of something. But still...waiting is the best option. No point in making assumptions about a game we still know almost nothing about.
It is definitely about opinion. I for one hated how easy VATS made everything but also hated how comparatively unpolished the real time FPS gameplay felt. Even then though I absolutely loved Fallout 3 for all of the really intense sidequests and the countless ways you could approach each situation. More armour would have been nice too. Excited to see all of the improvements Bethesda brings to the table.

Not sure why games need to fall in the end of the year as if that is somehow more impactful and discounts all of the exclusives they've already released. That and expect an actual exclusive to be announced at E3 as well. I'm personally going to be thrilled if I get to play both Fallout and Persona this year.

I think most people didnt detect the sarcasm. And from a literal perspective, hard drives that big would make the consoles at least 100 dollars more. That and the average user isn't a hardcore gamer that needs more than the stock drive. Many people will never have digital games and many will never purchase more than 4 or 5 games (sometimes even less).
How? It was inferior to the main franchise in every way. It might have done some things better than the original but that's not saying much considering the release date differences.
And the story was the most basic and underdeveloped of the series.
Maybe Borderlands 3 will come out at the end of next year though. And I'm sure Gears will at least have 2 player split.
