Depends on the game. I have no issue preordering games like Uncharted 4 and Kingdom Hearts 3. Even if games like the latter probably won't be out for years. Currently in Canada Amazon has a preorder 3 games and get 30% off the total. That's like one free game when you buy two basically.
Persona 5 is GOTY material despite many people not knowing what it is.
You mean in the fourth quarter. The Sony games slow down significantly by then but at least there's never a drought. The big multiplats also release in he fourth quarter, so its kind of an unnecessary time to pump out all of the exclusives at once.
Am I the only one who liked this but thought other games looked much better? I guess nothing about the setting has clicked with me yet. It also looks like Guerilla borrowed from ND in a few ways with how their third person gameplay controls and looks animation-wise. Basically sci-fi uncharted with a girl and and open world. Not sure what to expect from the full product at this point.
Would have been the best animal crossing yet with the second screen for inventory control and modifying your house. Damn...wasted opportunities. I'm genuinely angry.
Wow. Way to ruin one of your best franchises that was actually not suffering from milk fatigue. I see this release as negative news rather than positive and I don't usually say that about new games. The amiibo portion of each Wii U game so far has been the worst part of the game. They already ruined the Smash 4 campaign and limited Mario Party's content because of amiibos. Who knows what else the gimmick will tarnish next. Sad day for gaming after how amazing yesterday was.
This is unfortunately very true although the Wii U has amassed some terrific exclusives over the last few years. It could still use more but Zelda will be huge. Here's hoping Nintendo reavulate their approach and pricing model for games in the coming years. They no longer have the right to sell games at full price for whole genrations under the guise that they are somehow more timeless than other companies' games. It's really just hiding greed behind family-centric company. It'...
This new generation has too much time and too few tangible problems. It's just more milking like the silly Final Fantasy spinoff game that got announced. The port is only happening because the Wii U's user base is too small for a profit to be turned so they now throw more heavy hitters on the 3DS. Ironically the Vita is suffering the same treatment with regard to the PS4. I'd like to say there's an correlation between age and portable gaming but I think it's really down to...
Tetsuya is involved and KH might not even come out until 2017 since thats pretty early in its development still. With that in mind this couldn't come out until 2018 or 2019. That's being optimistic too. Square has been terribly slow since FFXII's development.
Jesus that's a rip off. 40 dollars is fair if they are planning on doubling the gane's content. Not sure if that'll be happening though.
Didn't get the other DLC because the content didn't seem appealing but something with more story and planets would definitely sell me. I just wish the core game was bigger to begin with. It was fun no matter what the masses say.
Agreed. They need to have a truce or something. Content and release date parity would be nice. I don't even buy DLC or games day one (usually) and it bothers me.
Depends on quality of said Star Fox game. Also gamer preference with regard to genre matters.
Animal crossing Wii u please.
There's some vague similarities to Ghost Recon but its entirely different from the original that I played in that this almost looks like Payday where you play the good guys and Ghost Recon was more about the war. When they revealed the open world aspect at the end my mind was blown. Hype is there if its named Ghost Recon or not.
Would have liked a sequel. At least do a remaster across all systems with extra content. Not just a port basically to the system that was just announced to be getting BC. Someone at either MS or Drinkbox clearly got blackout drunk and made poor life choices.
Yeah it looks a lot more like Tools of Destruction than the original game and I don't mean just graphically. Pretty excited since that was easily my second favourite R&C game.
I thought so too until I read more about it and realized its not even for the hardcore gamer. It's for the hardcore gamer who regularly enters gaming competitions. Kind of a niche market they're aiming for. It's a shame because the aesthetics of the controller are pretty remarkable and I wouldn't mind seeing more of them out in the wild.
Debatable. It was awesome though. Also, Gears 2 was pretty memorable imo. Especially with the introduction of horde mode.
That would have been a hefty bag since thats 2000 to 6000 coins. Wouldnt want to be there for the counting process.
Edit: actually I guess new order isn't a full priced game so the scenario isn't overly obscene at all lol.
