Yeah I thought it looked fantastic and in some ways better than W3 (some of the lighting). Also people should go back and look at F3. Its horribly ugly compared to what this is going to look like. Even Skyrim was a massive jump from that game.
Terrible news. No Stella and gimped combat. They should have kept Tetsuya on the game.
No they said there would be no main Mario entry in 2015. Whether its Galaxy 3, Sunshine 2, or 3D World 2, its on the way. We just won't see it this year.
Braid's platforming is on the weak side but the concept was cool and the story is one of the best in gaming if you know what its really about (i.e. the making of the atomic bomb).
The end of an era. It kind of bothers me when great features don't get carried forward across generations. It definitely detracts from the whole sense of "upgrading". Music and movie players are another thing. Even the Vita has these.
You had me until you said half price for digital games. While they can't go for resale, they're still the same product. Maybe they should be 5 dollars cheaper and actually try to compete with amazon but half off? Nah. That and the value of resale probably applies to less than half of the gamers out there (i.e. A frugal minority). Between myself and a dozen friends that are really into gaming, all of us keep our collections. I'm actually really cheap too. I just rarely buy new. I l...
That was strategic?
Fetch quests are the worst. More and more games are taking the Ubisoft approach by artificially inflating the amount of content/play time with trivial tasks, collectibles, etc. Hopefully that isn't the case here.
I'm thinking about the 2TB internal Seagate but waiting just in case 3s and 4s are around the corner. 1TB definitely seems like a waste of time in comparison. Not a fan of the externals since I have limited space in my set up already.
Except its more like Sony dominates three quarters of the year while MS has next to nothing, and MS dominates the last quarter while Sony still brings a decent amount to the table. It does vary from year to year but that's the pattern so far.
Got the Vita and forked out 100 for a 64gb card. That's 300. The same price I played for the PSP like 12 years ago and that came with a 32MB card I believe. That and many of the system's killer apps have been free for me or at least really cheap because of sales. Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Killzone (bought this), Wipeout, Disgaea 3, Soul Sacrifice, Sly Cooper, etc have all been free now. Go and buy Persona 4, Tearaway, and LBP Vita then add in your already purchased Psone and PSP games ...
Yeah jumping down six feet in real life wouldn't hurt anyone in decent shape. More than that though it does get a bit iffy. Video games are meant to be a little bit exaggerated though so having the threshold at like 8 to 10 feet would be pretty fair imo.
Same boat. I keep splurging and keep regretting lol. Oh well I can't say it was expensive building up this backlog between massive sales and PS plus.
Played them to death as well (like 4 playthroughs for 2 and 3 and 3 for 1). Still getting this for sure. Might even get it day one if there aren't too many new games kicking around. That and the multiplayer will be bumping around launch.
Still more likely than Half Life 3. Would be a bomb but I'm not getting my hopes up. The Uncharted Trilogy on the other hand sounds like a realistic prospect.
That pun.
That wouldn't just be awesome. It would be a system seller. Imagine using the gamepad as a second screen to manage your party and items and whatnot. I feel like it would be a match made in heaven, but for some reason, Gamefreak never seems to be ambitious enough to attempt a console Pokemon game. It's not like it hasn't been in demand. Hell, I would settle for Pokemon Snap 2 at this point.
It's 10 years for the franchise. I'm not defending the corruption behind Destiny, but I don't understand how this and the 500 million dollar thing continuously get misconstrued. Latching on to hyperbole due to outrage and disappointment I guess.
The game was still good. It wasn't some be all end all game like the hype implied. But it delivered in the graphics and gameplay departments while mixing up the FPS genre slightly. People also tend to overlook how addictive it was for a week or two before repetition sank in and it became mundane. It takes a pretty good game to hook you for more than a day or two let alone a week or two. Certainly not a game deserving of a 6. It has its flaws and the expansions are a joke, but Destiny des...
Its by far the weakest entry and I played it as recently as last year and its technically a portable game with a different engine but it would have been cool to include it I guess. They certainly weren't even slightly obligated though. Its not even a Naughty Dog game.
