I would like it if they totally revamped the movement and combat to feel less mechanical. It's just pretending to be fluid and since every movement is kind of scripted your character ends up acting differently from what you input. Another thing...they should really diversify with the settings more. The whole Victorian, Elizabethan, Renaissance, Revolution type settings are nice, but too often it feels like more of the same mundane cities. Something like feudal Japan or medieval Europe or ...

Battles are the game's primary flaw. Even as it is though, it is actually my favourite Mario Kart to date. It looks amazing too. It makes the Wii entry look like a joke.

I agree and disagree. People should respect other people's careers, but people in certain industries need to maintain either a sense of anonymity and/or responsibility when it comes to posting online. Anything that comes of someone mixing their career with casual social interactions is technically the fault of the person saying things that their bosses wouldn't appreciate. Everyone knows this. I know people who have been fired over harmless Facebook and Twitter posts.

I liked Tools of Destruction way more. Really kept to the series roots. ACiT had a weird art style to it and the exploration felt mostly like filler content to compensate for a smaller game. The story and Clank parts also got a little silly imo. The museum at the end was kind of cool though.

Graphically. I'm still not sure if the gameplay changes were for the best.

Who could disagree. Capcom has been $***ing the bed since the beginning of Monster Hunter. They shut down the PS2 servers kind of early, released G and others exclusively in Japan, brought it to the PSP with only ad-hoc, and then after reskinning the original game a few times they bought in to Nintendo's massive stash of Wii money. It was probably Nintendo's smartest investment of the last half-decade. But Capcom has been garbage since the beginning and imo have hardly budgeted any mo...

I didn't go to it though. I've just preferred PS portables despite the recent lack of games. Haven't touched one since GBC and GBA days. If they brought back golden Sun I would consider investing in one. Then again the 3DS is due for a replacement soon anyway.

Because they aren't really supporting the Vita most likely. If Monster hunter was on vita, for example, Capcom would see even better sales. Too bad it can't be on both.

Smash dlc is garbage but I think they did a great job with the offerings in Mario Kart. The retail game already has so much content and the dlc is proportionally cheap.

There is some backwards thinking with the main premise, but I also see innovation in the whole paint factor. Like competing to paint a level in your team's colour is a cool concept that hasn't been done before. Then again, it does sound more like a concept for an indie game and not a full retail game. It's not high on my hype list for Nintendo games, but I think it has potential.

I'm following the logic that this game does most things better than DA:I, which won numerous GoTY awards. It was a mediocre year for gaming but still... sometimes you have to use faulty logic to have hope. I think I'm on the hype train. Let's see if it crashes, keeps rolling or gets Spider-Man 2'd.

While I agree, I still think GTA could use work in this department as well. All open-world games could use some more variety and dynamic elements. Though it's an RPG and unfair to compare, I think TES gets the closest to offering a living, breathing open-world. Although, there are always the bugs...

Agreed SP has been impressively consistent compared to the likes of GG. SSM has really slowed down since the only title they've given us that truly lines up with their track record is GoW3 (in the last 9 years). I feel like SP deserves some budgeting headed their way. Hopefully we get some news on MM and Last Guardian soon. Those two studios have left us hanging a little long.

My guesses are a) spoilers and b) insensitivity to the handicapped community. After a few years of dealing with touchy people on the internet, you begin to realize that there is no pleasing some people unless you settle for bland neutrality. Tossing spoilers out immediately after a spoiler alert article description is a bit questionable though.

As far as games go they leave a lot to be desired. They're not nearly as good as the games I played as a kid like Spyro, Crash, Croc, Gex, Banjo, etc. They're just too simplistic and linear. Its especially disappointing because Lego has always been about infinite possibilities. Playing through the Star Wars collection was just way too tedious though. Felt like an incomplete game.

Changes are minor (getting rid of most of the charts) but the quest went fairly quickly for me. I just wish the game threw another two temples at you instead of that quest. It's worth it to get to the Ganon fight though. Its easily one of my favourites.

The bundle youre talking about has been sitting in my local wal Mart for 300 for over a year now. I got so close to buying it and then got impatient while away from home and bought the less exciting super Mario 3d world bundle. I wonder if it's still there. Haven't checked in a few months.

I think this and Uncharted 4 are going to be generation-defining games. The track records add up and the delays only confirm their commitment to making us the perfect games.

Windwaker actually only really had one town (and then 3 smaller areas with less content that I'd call villages) but that town had an impressive amount of side stuff to do in it. More than all of twilight princess I believe. I'd like to see more of this depth in the new Zelda. Especially since its open world and the focus shouldn't be as heavy on linearity and cinematics.

I really hope the NX is a 2017 release. I don't see the Wii u as too much like virtual re...
