This Persona is oozing with style. I'd say even more so than 3 and 4 before it. Excited for the emancipation theme.
In many people's opinions they have "become" the best. I loved Crash but its comparatively primitive and I loved Jak but it had its fair share of flaws as well. I actually preferred Spyro and Ratchet from Insomniac over both those sfranchises. Now ND are just so far beyond the other developers with a level of polish and detail that you just don't see anywhere else. Rockstar North gets close but their different breeds because of the genre difference.
There's plenty of evidence supporting cut content including other planets and theres also been countless discoveries of areas that were not accessible until the release of DLC later on. So maybe take your own advice there.
It's like my friend who rushes out to buy games like Dying Light and Assassins Creed games at full price and plays them non-stop for a week to justify his purchase but then suddenly stops and the game is stowed away never to be seen again and you just know any form of satisfaction from the game was temporary and there's a sense of buyer's remorse. A game that was already lacking in the content department should at least have reasonably priced DLC. No entitlement here. I just believe in fairness and respect for the customer. This is consistent gouging and I think it's because Destiny continues to do well commercially despite backlash from the core gamers.
There's a few other top notch games as well. It's library actually isn't bad at all for a sub-three year old console. I just wish it raked in a few more sales so that Nintendo wouldn't be losers about supporting it. Oh it didn't become a casual fad like the Wii U so now its a write off and we're going to treat it like the Vita (which is a year older I believe).
Well occasionally quality is affected by exclusivity whether timed or otherwise and I think this is one of those times where the game will be hugely successful regardless of an impending X1 version. In other words, I think someone is very likely to buy a PS4 for this game because of the close link between PS and JRPGs whereas Tomb Raider is much less of a system seller and will likely sell more on PS4 and will not really sell many X1s. The ratio for sales for FF7 however will be very interest...
I'm still wondering how the game aspect of dreams works because so far we've only seen two presentations of animation with no real gameplay. Very curious to see how you would play it. Would it be like Littlebigplanet but with the ability to have cutscenes and a greater variety of gameplay?

Agreed. I need some epic battlefields. Plus the rail and electricity guns were amazing. Going through that sniper desert and crushing fools in a mech? Awesome.
Still have unmeasureable levels of hype for Persona 5 and Kingdom Hearts 3.
I would say both k2 and k3 were above mediocre although k2 was pretty perfect as far as fps go (minus the story). The first was pretty subpar and shadowfall while mediocre still lead the industry in terms of graphics. Some of the new gameplay elements felt gimmicky but it was still fun.
As much as I am hyped for Fallout and I have a preorder in place, nothing they showed bluilt half as much hype as the Fallout 3 reveal. It's basically just a prettier version of what we've already played with not too much new stuff added outside of thee new creation engine aspects. I think the final product will be amazing but nothing they showed was that impressive.
Jumping to that conclusion makes you no better than them. I still haven't picked it up yet because I knew it was going to be a patcher. That and I'll get it for like 40 bucks new in a month or so.

Actually Horizon is confirmed for 2016 and it began development in 2011 so don't count on a delay.
Timed. Otherwise Square would become even more bankrupt. They are the kind of games that will sell like triple the amount on PlayStation though.
Then Tomb Raider's timed exclusivity is meaningless as well(which it is). I wouldn't be surprised if Sony helped make this happen. It's kind of their style to figure out what people want and throw it their way. That's why they're helping SF5 and Shenmue with financing and still haven't cancelled TLG.
Is this article satirical? Owned seems like a strong word and entirely subjective as well. My friend with a 360 didn't play a single Xbox game. I didn't play a single PS2 game on my PS3. Only thought about it. As much as love the idea of BC, its not a deal breaker of any sort. That's why neither system had it from the get go. This is just a counterstrike relating to the whole used games/for the players attack from Sony in 2013.
Kind of agree. I'll buy the game and ei love Guerilla and everything but I'm still more excited about UC4 simply because we still don't know how any of the RPG elements work aor how scripted some parts of that gameplay were. I'm optimistic that it will be a very dynamic open-world but you always have to wait for the reality instead of getting carried away by hype.

Not sure how people could have that opinion unless they got into the series very late. Such a bad story and characters. The general consensus is that IV, VI, VII, and to some extent IX, are the best. Most of the old school fans would say X was the last great game in the series.
I'll consider buying some Destiny DLC when the prices get cut in half. That or ill just forget about Destiny entirely since I have a solid backlog and there are still some great games coming this year (Fallout and Persona please).
