That Seagate backup slim 2TB drive is going to have to get at my PS4 soon.

It's a good day for gaming. I hope more funds roll in from PayPal, etc. The game will need a few more million to really deliver a fantastic open world experience.

Is it bad that I'm still expecting a trilogy remaster before the 4th iteration launches?

In the same boat. All of the decent deals are on games that I've already gotten for free on Plus or ones like Borderlands you can already find for a similar price for the physical copy (which is usually preferable for larger games...2 minute wait for install vs. possibly hours for the download is a no-brainer). I would have picked up GW3 here however if I didn't buy it day one. It was worth the $15 anyway.

Edit: I'd like to see some sales for Knack tbh or they sho...

Yeah I like both looks but I understand why people might prefer 30fps. The truth is we have gotten so used to 30fps in movies and games over the years to the point where 60 can just look strange to our eyes. It's like the first time you watch something on a big HDTV and the level of detail makes the video look like a home video rather than a movie that gives off the expected aura of fairness. I like both.

.ca had the regular for 30. I've already seen it at that price normally and I'm sure it'll drop to 20 soon here. Not going to sit there and compete for crappy lightning deals with a bunch of monkies.

They all play mostly the same and are the most conventional and easy to grasp third person shooter controls I have ever used. What's to modernize?

Have both. Good times for sure. I find GW3 more addictive and appealing in terms of art style but the sheer amount of content in the BL collection is pretty impressive and economical for the consumer.

Already got many of them free but ya...Probably shouldn't bother talking logically here.

Very excited to see if this will be open world like SotC or very closed in and puzzle based like Ico. It could be a hybrid (puns) and that would be my personal preference.

Heard it's a deuce and nothing like your typical offline TES. Also watched gameplay and it looked like your standard MMO fare with an Elder Scrolls skin. But not even in a good way. Just in a Zenimax cut and pasted it for cash cow purposes kind of way.

Wow. That was so ignorant. I would take JRPGs over WRPGs any day of the week. Sure Japanese developers are in a slump, but you can't forget their epic backlog that basically makes up the majority of any top RPGs list. If anything were seeing a comeback now. We just need to wait and see if these games release to critical and commercial success. Persona 5 for instance is just as much GOTY material as W3.

Based on track records it's both. The PC actually could come out last though since XIII took it's time getting there (as did everything else).

How hard could it be to port. There's really no reason for them not to do it. Especially if it delivers and gets the massive sales I expect it to. It's probably PS4 and some PC development going on and then they Xbox will follow after that. The two might even release at the same time.

Why not all three. Square knows this is probably their most anticipated title and I'm sure their stocks aren't exactly soaring after the last decade of mediocre to bad games. I wonder what the time exclusive gap will be? A year? A week? First is pretty vague.

Would be interesting but then again the two plots hardly feel cohesive back to back because of the time lapse. Imo barely anything happened in AC to make it worth playing through in a game and I'm one of the ones that enjoyed it.

Yeah I hope they go back to open worldish games soon. All of the new stuff has been good but I'm not a fan of the linearity we've been seeing lately.

Yeah it's too bad. Missed opportunities. Kind of like the limited Gears and GoW remasters or the lack of multiplayer in the Uncharted collection or the lack of BL1 in the Borderlands collection or PS2 classics only being playable on PS3 and not at least Vita or the fact that the Kingdom Hearts series has been spread about canonically across 5 or so systems and there's still no word on an all-encompassing collection coming to new systems. I feel like I could go on about simple things t...

Kind of interested in getting into this now but I'm apprehensive because it is pretty faithful to the generic MMORPG model and MMOs in general can be life ruining time sinks for addictive personality types. I might have too much going on to take the plunge but I really want to.

Probably a factor. Overheating isnt a problem here in Canada for like 95% of the year lol. It's hot now but could be hotter.
