I see how some might always prioritize 60 fps but I've been playing lower frame rate games for years and years and it has yet to bother me or feel low quality to me. If anything there are many genres that don't need it at all.
Same. How hard could it have been to include. Building up a UC multiplayer base on PS4 before the new game would have been smart if anything. Unless the multiplayer is going to be completely different from what were used to. I won't complain either way if it's good.

Eh the guys take one head shot if they have no helmet and usually 3 for normal shots (sometimes 1 or 2 under certain circumstances). The game never felt to bullet spongy to me. Might as well say the enemies in every game are bullet spongy. TLoU had just as much if not more bullet sponge enemies. That's why I play both games as stealth as possible.

If the series was more commercially successful than regular funding would have been viable. Also they didn't ask for 6 million. The fans gave it willingly and the majority of people are getting the game so it's like a pre-order. Many cheapskates just sat right on the 29 dollar mark as a way to get the game for cheaper.
May want this for the art style alone. You mention Yoshi Story at one point...did you like this more or less than that game?
Lol I could see it being useful for competetive gamers that have clans and tournaments. I would personally consider using it to mark down releases.

COD hasn't felt fresh since COD4. The games after that have been fun but nothing special in comparison. They need another big jump like there was from 3 to 4. Maybe they just got lucky and then recycled their luck. MW and BO should have never become numbered series imo. Though BO has stayed more consistent then the silly stories in MW where they literally just find excuses to milk the best parts of the first game (ex. The ghillie mission).
Bought LBP3 and FC4 on pre-order for 49.99 and have a U4 preorder for 56.99 lined up on Amazon. That and the buy two get one free deal Amazon had for preorders around E3 (actually buy three and save 30% off the total). This is all in Canada. I recommend people follow CanadaGameDeals (website or Twitter) if they want to avoid the ridiculous $80 pre-order prices.

More gameplay than Ether One? I found that a little dry and tedious even though I love narrative-driven games and visual novels.
Something about playing the genuine product the way it was released and meant to be played is more enjoyable to me. Perhaps it's the more consistent quality control or maybe it's the whole tampering with something which may in itself be art.

Honestly Bethesda games almost never impress me with the reveals before release. It's when I sit down and play it for the first time; that's when I get my mind blown and then wake up from an RPG coma 150 hours later. That aside, the new suit gameplay that they released was simply amazing. I didn't expect anything like that from F4.

@Chickey No. Think of Infamous SS. It could run 60 FPS but would dip down to 45 FPS quite often. In order for that game to run a rock solid 60 FPS fixed or otherwise, the game would need to be able to run well over 60 FPS at less-intensive parts. So, if the framerate isn't fixed for KI, it guaranteed runs over 60 while 60 on the dot would be the frames reserved for the most intensive parts. That seems fair. The PS3 OS ran on a quarter of the memory and did more than both next gen systems combined. It was a bit slower in the end but it was still quite an accomplishment.
Agreed. I feel like it didn't launch completely broken like some games but it still feels like it's been coming out of beta for the past few months.
Waiting for some new stuff for sure. PS3 was updated at a much faster rate (although I swear it was like a two to three year wait for in-game xmb). Even just better/more media support would make me happy at this point. Enough of this USB stick nonsense. Let us use the hard drive like last gen. Also... Psone classics anybody?
