On hard QB is about 15 hours and UC4 is about 17.5...so not a massive difference. On a technical level both are massively impressive, but for different reasons. It's hard for me to take you seriously saying that it's executed better on every level if I know you haven't played either game. I think you don't WANT to believe QB is on it's level. Either way...I'm not saying it's THE exact same level, but I'm saying UC4 is getting A LOT more benefit of the doubt...

It doesn't point out hypocrisy at all....I've been very pro Sony doing the same thing. My concern for both is just about how forward/backward compatible it'll be. While both companies doing this is still just a very vague rumor, the only reason I would give MS a leg up is that they at least somewhat hinted at the idea of being forward and backward compatible. I think I'm at the point where I will only be buying Treyarch CODs unless the games come back to modern times or back to World War 2. 3Arc is my favorite COD dev, so even if they stay futuristic, one COD every 3 years will be good for me (but I hope they come back to more modern times, I'm getting sick of all the futuristic stuff lending itself to cheap tactics). I don't hope that any ND games gets bad scores or anything...I pre-ordered the games months ago cause I know I like their games....I just wish people would come back down to earth a little when talking about their games. 6 months before release, people were CERTAIN it is GOTY....even today calling it GOTY is way pre-mature. you should play more games. It's not a bad game, but it didn't do anything first or best. Not a bad thing, just highly over-rated is all.
UC3 is probably my least favorite in the series, but it probably is a good idea to play it again...I honestly can't remember too much of the story now...
I don't think that ANYONE doubts this game is going to be amazing. I know I'm excited to play it. I just hope that it doesn't get the same over-exaggerations of "greatness" like TLoU did. GREAT games, but it seems like according to some ND games get too much benefit of the doubt. They are fantastic devs no doubt, and have earned the right to be among the top devs in the world...but sometimes their games get 10s when any other dev making the same quality game would ge...
X1 is by no means abysmal. You're missing out if you're letting your bias keep you away from one.
your loss, they are all great systems. Not to mention, you're really fooling yourself. I have a 4k 70" TV and do the comparisons all the time. If you weren't told which is which....you wouldn't know. To each their own, but I choose the X1 as my lead console for a few reasons, and SOMETIMES having a better res on PS4 is never enough to make me change my mind.
Only if you mean excellent. I fail to see any comparing to QB as anything short of a compliment.
It doesn't look that different in 1080p than 720p....it just looks rough in general
It doesn't look all that impressive in either mode, at first look it seems like a 360/PS3 game (Mostly in reference to the stale character motion movements and lack of particle effects/atmospherics). It definitely looks more smooth in the action mode. Most importantly, as long as it's fun, then it will be a good game.
I love UC series too, but we all knew this was going to happen 6 months ago :)
