They are both amazing games...I know it's satire, but it's all subjective...someone might actually agree with the headline. I haven't played UC4 yet, but I know I loved QB.
At least they were considerate enough just to make it an opinion piece instead of attaching a score to it. I've seen opinion pieces with less supporting reasoning try to pass themselves off as reviews
...pointing out the bias in game reviews, and why most reviews should simply be ignored.
WAYYYYYYY too low, try again
Looks pretty good! I have a feeling it'll look better in action
I KNOW I'm gonna love UC4, easily the game on PS4 that has me the most hyped...and it's getting great reviews. But after seeing someone post on twitter comparison screenshots from UC4 and Ryse...it struck me as amazing that THE PS4 game to beat all PS4 games...still doesn't look as good as Ryse...which was a launch title. Ryse STILL looks fantastic. That being said, graphics aren't everything at all....BOTH games look great, and I'm sure I'll have more fun with UC4 ...
It does seem funny to me how many people WANT the tech to fail....simply because it's MS that is making the first leap towards using it. If it were another company, say Sony, taking this route, we'd see a completely different outlook by some. As a gamer, I hope that it does everything they say that it will someday....more tools/options can only spell good things.
Good, cause that's not what it's doing
Seems like UC4 finally got it's first QB review. No substance for the scathing review...only difference is this site didn't score it a 4/10 for no reason.
Too early to know for sure yet, but based on the little we know...it looks that way so far. (Although MW4 remake could give BF a run for its money).
My stance on these new, more powerful consoles is that I love the idea...and I'll be grabbing them AS LONG as they are Forward/Backward compatible. As in, that like PC, you're simply upgrading the hardware, but keeping the old ecosystem, so all past games and apps still work (and you're not re-inventing the wheel). I would also like them to be forward compatible in the sense that "less dedicated/more broke" gamers aren't forced to upgrade their consoles (at least n...
True, if all those big dogs can do it, there's a lot more companies that can as well (although I don't mind supporting the little studios that have less room in their budgets). As far as DC, true they did free DLC, but as I remember it...that was more of an after thought because the launch was botched...so If I remember that one correctly, that particular one is like a 50/50 in my eyes. Had the launch gone perfectly, not sure they would have done it....kinda like how MCC had a botch...
...and Gears of War announced it already....and other companies have done it.
Seems weird that someone would actually write an article saying that other companies should take UC4's lead on this one....it's like they haven't been paying attention to gaming at all. Sure it's a good move, but UC4 didn't set the trend. Either way, I do see that it's right and a great move by ND...I also can't help but notice some of the same people on this thread s...
Ignore is there...it's the "-" button at the top.
...and i fully stand by those statements...and neither seems to be lashing out. Both are just statements about how people tend to get too emotional and aren't thinking logically and then they get ahead of themselves...even taken out of context both of those statements say that.
Nice, I think I am going to be very happy about this one.
It seems to be a common thread that when people trash talk QB, they haven't played the game, and/or they don't WANT it to succeed (which is confirmed by their comment histories and bias). The game is excellent, I just feel sorry for anyone missing out on a fantastic game because of a stupid unfounded bias.
The absolute worse thing this gen is how "gamers" actively fight to kill the hobby they claim to love. It used to be, fanboys just had a favorite and...
But hopefully it'll actually be fun
Apparently right now 9 people don't want you to be happy about 2 games at E3
This doesn't mean they aren't
It looks great, but you need to play more games then.
