@ristul I definitely see your point about the 0/10 reviews...those are always just stupid. Not only can I not trust the "legit" metacritic scores...but the user ones are almost completely a joke....more often than not those "reviews" are filled with nothing more than fanboy bashing....I don't even consider those a true part of metacritic at all.
@MasterConrholio I stand by every one of those comments...but I still think that UC4 is a 9/10...so I'm failing to see how you say I'm downplaying anything more than just trying to keep things fair and realistic. Huh? fanboys DOWN-playing UC4? Where were you during the QB reviews? If any game got downplayed more than it deserved this gen it was QB. UC4 is an amazing game, but it's more in danger of being OVER-rated than down-played.
TR's story wasn't bad, but it's strength was actually it's gameplay and exploration....and even it's visuals. In all three of those areas it out-performs UC4. UC4 takes the edge is story-telling and perhaps voice acting.
The greatest truth that can be learned this gen is NOT to trust Metacritic, it's become a tool for fanboys to try and persuade scores and justify bias opinions.
Both are fantastic, I prefer RotTR so far, but I'm not done with UC4 yet.
...but Tombraider is the better game...they are both fantastic, but so far TR's storytelling is on par with UC4, except it has a MUCH MUCH MUCH better sense of gameplay and exploration. It even looks better despite being more of an open-world game.

It does seem to be that way this gen. It's like people bash exclusives cause they are on the "wrong" system, then over-inflate others to "Prove" their console of choice is the "right one. Uncharted 4 is a FANTASTIC game, but still suffers from the same thing every ND game does...it's great, but somehow STILL over-rated. You can tell by the over emotional comments/articles like "Next Gen starts when ND says so" or "Best looking game ever"...
I'm trying to hurry through uncharted so I can trade it towards this game...my goal is by Sunday

I'm not sure this is the race issue some are making it out to be. I mean the lead character was white....so who really cares? If the lead was black and they did this then I get it....but does anybody throw a fit that the cover of any Barbershop movie isn't an Asian guy? 9/10 is about what I would put it at so far. Fantastic game with great voice-acting and story telling. The game looks great as well, and I love that it's not combat to combat to combat. The game is a little more linear than I expected and the controls are clunky...there isn't quite enough exploring....but over all a fantastic game. Typical ND game...very solid fantastic game (but very over-rated by some people).

Wow. Its a fantastic game....but slow down just a bit. When people make overly emotional statements like that its easy to see they aren't thinking logically....but more just trying to see what they want to see. It was out since March 4, 2014....two years is a pretty long time to hold out servers for a game like this. Not many games stay online for more than 2 years. CODs, BFs and Halos are about it really. ...not bad for a free game really.
