You need to play more games, and stop being a TRUE fanboy...if you can't take an honest opinion just because I said UC4 isn't PERFECT...then you're just a fanboy plain and simple

....or you could just be a gamer and get an X1 and/or PC.... catch up to Gen 8. PS4 is a fine system, but if you ONLY have a PS4, you're missing at least half of the great gaming experiences this gen. If you can't afford one....I get it, and I'm sorry....but if that's not the reason, it's your loss.
For the longest it was 9's for both to me...but the more I play UC4...the more it's looking like 8.5...the clunky controls and horrible cover system are killing the game for me.
How would you know? You obviously haven't played TR....as you stated above . Both are fantastic games...but he is right...TR has MUCH better gameplay

Both are great, I'm not done with UC4 yet, but I'd say TR edges out UC4 as the better game. It's better looking and has much better gameplay...plus both are games about Treasure hunters....and TR has a lot more exploration. I also like that TR has upgrade aspects...UC4 slightly edges out TR for voice-acting and story telling so far.
I wouldn't give it a 6, but I see your point...the game is great, but not AS GREAT as many want you to believe....reading the reviews and their justifications vs final scores seem to give this game more benefit of the doubt than ANY other game.....I think of some other games that had similar issues...and their scores are nowhere near as high as this game...clearly something isn't adding up. I DO still recommend people get the game, but this review's points do seem much more hones...
I agree with many of your and the review's assessments as well. I have played all the main UC's...and while this is actually my favorite of the 4 main ones...it's definitely NOT perfect or as great as the reviews/fanboys want you to think. It has a lot of glitches with NPCs falling through floors and such, ore weird things with gripping walls like you said....the combat is clunky and horrible most of the time (with the exception of the stealth elements). Please don't use facts or logical thinking here, esp when pointing out that ND is made up of humans and is therefore not godly or perfect. The mob here doesn't wish to hear that. If you gave the game 9.9/10 they would want to lynch you. There is a very unfounded bias on this site. Sony is a great company and UC is a great game series, but if you say anything remotely negative about either on this site....some people go straight to lynch mode.
Uh, it's definitely not this bad. I'd put it at 9/10 (although depending on the amount of combat in the remainder of the game may take it down to 8.5 for me) so far...almost done. You're onto something....comparing scores from the store would be more accurate...those are people that AT LEAST MIGHT HAVE PLAYED THE GAME...on N4G you get a lot of people that don't even own the console to play the game on, talking about how trash the game is.
Only people that WANT QB to fail and/or haven't even played it would say something like what he said....look how emotional his comment is...he's CLEARLY speaking about what he WANTS to believe, not in reality...sad thing is look how many people "agree" with him. Both are fantastic games, and although I haven't quite finished UC4 yet, I'd give both a 9/10. UC4 has the slight edge in voice-acting/Story-telling, where as QB has the slight edge in gameplay. UC4 has the slight edge in sharp colorful visuals, while QB has the slight edge in character animations and movement (esp facial animation, QB is almost creepy how great it looks in game).

I see a few games being better than it, but not a ton. Fallout 4, Witcher 3, RotTR, QB (although not by much), Ori and the Blind Forest, Titanfall (I do love games like UC4, but I slightly prefer FPS), and SSOD. UC4 is a fantastic game and does everything you'd expect it to do....story-telling, voice acting, sound, music....all superb, but the gamplay is clunky and the cover system REALLY sucks...so whenever in combat (which thankfully isn't a ton)...those aspects take you out of th...
