This gen has taught me not to take reviews seriously. It does seem like not all games are treated equally anymore. It does seem to me like PS4 games get more benefit of the doubt than they actually deserve (yet are still great games), and X1 games get more criticism than they deserve. Typically I find that on metacritic I have to take 5-10 points from any PS4 game and add 10 points to any X1 game to get closer to a "true" score IMO. PS4 is an absolutely fantastic console, and I've loved it since I got one in 2013, but I do find that I enjoy my X1 much more. To each their own, and it's all subjective, but for me I find the X1 does all my heavy lifting, and at this point my PS4 is solely for exclusives.
Hard to get excited...if you're a fanboy. We all know if they changed even just a few more things the complaint would be "they changed too much I don't even recognize it anymore". Why aren't we seeing articles about "it's hard to get excited for UC4" ...ND didn't change UC4 too much...but THAT'S A GOOD THING...the game became popular cause it did things right...same with Gears...why change a good thing.

Not only was the TV show good...as in if it was it's own series I would watch it...but the game was amazing. I'm seriously not getting the "hate" for the game. The game is all around fantastic, and it seems to me more that the people trying to downplay it WANT it to be bad, and/or haven't played it. I get that some people may have legit complaints about the game...not everyone will feel the same of course...but MOST complaints about the game don't make sense and/o...

Great to see a new IP doing well....congrats to all those that put in hard work making this happen...hopefully there will be more good news like this and lead to a QB2, absolutely Amazing game. I strongly suggest everyone that has a chance to play it does. It's also one of the few games that I enjoyed MORE as it went on. I also though that all the live action stuff would turn me off, but just the opposite...I'd actually even watch it if it was a stand alone show. Maybe just cause ...

To each their own, but 7/10 is a bit low IMO. It's a fantastic game, and I suggest anyone play it if they have the means. My suggestion is avoid the "nay-sayers" of this game, the game is easily one of the best this gen has to offer...and it seems like a lot of the people pushing for the game to fail haven't even played it. It also seems that most of the reviews ranking the game low (not this review) don't seem to support their decision to rank it so low.

Having played it 9/10 is the lowest I would give this game. I don't understand all the hatred for this game and fear of it doing well. It's a fantastic game, avoiding it would only be "your" loss.
Judging by the state of reviews these days I can't say I'm shocked. Does seem like there is a lot of review "persuading" lately. This gen, very rarely has a metacritic score for an exclusive lined up with my actual enjoyment of a game.
Luckily I just by my own gut feelings if I buy a game or not, and I don't base it on reviews.

Having played both, there is no way IMO that is even close to true. It just more shows that reviews these days can't be trusted and not all games are treated the same. What's more disturbing is that on this site as of my writing, you have 64 agrees and 21 disagrees...and have not been silenced for trolling. They are both fantastic games (well...series), but they are both fantastic games for different reasons. Is QB X1's version of UC.....Uh, I enjoy them about the same I guess, but they aren't quite the same thing. Esp Graphically. UC series has always prided itself on a very crisp clean and colorful gameplay. QB doesn't have the same crisp colorful gameplay...it's more grainy film style, but what it lacks in crisp clean graphics it makes up for in lighting and particle effec...
I'm sure it will be an amazing game, but this is the kind of stuff that lets you know reviews in gaming are biased. The game won't be out for another month...and the articles are about if it will be the highest scoring game. Meanwhile QB overall is getting really good scores and some oddball really bad ones...but most of the articles on the top 10 here are the worst of the worst reviews.
Then your eye PHYSCIALLY cannot tell the difference between 1080 and 900 unless you play less than a foot from the screen...so why are you all over this board acting like it's a huge deal. I have a 70" 4k TV and KNOW it's not a big deal....get over it.
