So you're saying a company's revenue level shows how in tune they are with what consumers want?
Are you talking about MS and Sony as a whole, or XBL vs PSN, or Numbers of hours played on X1 vs PS4, or games attach ratios for X1 vs PS4? ...or simply how many people use windows 10 (or ANY windows device?)
Sounds like no matter what, your troll attempt is ROYALLY going to backfire. Well done, I haven't seen a failure like that in a while. Bravo ...
With how spoiled we are as gamers these days...always having great games to play....I'm usually "in favor" of games getting delayed. Well....at least to the point that I would like them to release a great product, and if the game needs a delay to do that....then I am all for it. So hopefully this allows Hello to polish some rough edges and release a great game.
Funny how the rest of the internet is exploding with talks of Scorpio and Neo, and that the rumors right now are that Scorpio will be 50% more powerful than Neo.....yet here on N4G.....crickets. Or about how the rumored new Xbox will work natively with Occulus (also rumored to inherit it's entire library of compatible games) and that Devs are starting to get linked with developing VR games for X1 due in 2017...suddenly we aren't talking about VR here anymore and how excited people are...
I really really want this game to be what I think it is....looks awesome
...so....then once you beat UC4 there's no reason to own a PS4?
Halo sold more consoles and brought in more revenue, even with a 2 to 1 console base ratio, UC4 is less than 500k copies sold more than H5 in the first week...then took a much sharper decline than Halo 5 in the second week....try again.
It also seems that Halo 5 sold a lot more digital copies than UC4 (no solid confirmation as far as I know yet, but it makes sense being that most people play UC games just for the SP then return it, where as most people play Halo for MP whic...
That's really the root of this whole thing. People keep seeing it from a fanboy perspective and thinking it's somehow a bad thing for MS....MS sees both as their children. PC gaming won't kill Xbox or vice-versa...if MS can support you (and get your support) through PC or Console....they really could care less....that's really just something fanboys use to keep their stats. It's a win-win for MS, if ANYTHING they get more money if you buy on PC (cause they aren't r...
So you don't play ANY multiplats on consoles?
K, $1000 vs what...maybe $500 for a new console that you don't need to upgrade every 5 months...that is rumored to be compatible with Occulus (most computers compatible with Occulus seem to be $1500 or higher). Still, most people don't want to hassle with all that. So will it persuade some people not to get an X1 (or PS4...let's not forget most PS games are also on PC), sure, but by no means is it going to persuade a lot of people. If games being on PC means death to consoles, ...
You dont NEED any console...but not getting one would be your loss. By that same logic... I beat UC4 and no longer need a PS4....dumb. For everyone not willing to sink $2000 or more into a PC rig to make it worth it...Halo going to PC makes no difference
I feel QB has better gameplay because the powers add more exciting things that you can do, the movement is faster and smoother, the gunplay is more responsive and natural. UC4 is great during moments of stealth, but then REALLY takes a dive during all out combat/cover. The Cover system is borderline broken being as the cover button rarely does what you intend for it to do. (Before you try to attack my skill, I've played games for over 30 years, and I know how to play a cover shooter, I&...
Depends on your perspective ultimately.
Personally I feel that most PS exclusives have not lived up to the hype...like Order, SF5, infamous (although a decent game, but REALLY short for open-world), KIllzone, EGTR, and others. However, then there's games that do deliver solid experiences like UC4 and Bloodborne (I didn't play it since it's not my style, but I trust that the amount of solid reviews say it's a great game). While I do think UC4 is an amazing ...
Close, both are great games...depends on the mood really. If you want better gameplay it's QB, if you want better story-telling it's UC4
Perspective of some. ND is a FANTASTIC studio, but many people just blindly think they are the best without contest. Those people make me wonder what else they have played. ND = great...not untouchable. Seems more that , that kind of talk is more aimed to legitimize bias. If ND went multiplat, immediately more than half their "diehard" fans would abandon them and/or say they lost their touch. Just how I see it
Anyone see this classic gem regarding this game?: https://twitter.com/The_Cra...
Mmmmm, sortta, but only really when I'm on the fence about a game...which really doesn't happen to me a ton. I usually know if I want to buy a game or not well before reviews are out. I feel like this gen more than others, reviews mean less than ever, seems more like certain games get benefits of the doubt that other games of close/equal/better value don't get. Two reviews with the same strengths and weaknesses right next to each other from the same reviewer will score one gam...
No
I am REALLY enjoying this game more than I expected...obviously you don't play it for the story, but put some headphones on (the sound is awesome!), sit back and blow $&%# up....it's fun, I love this game.
UC4 and TLoU are both great games....fantastic really. Just not as good as the hype would have you believe
If the rumors are true and X1 Scorpio is fully compatible with Occulus (and it's compatible library)...then Xbox will have gone from "not in the VR race at this time" to "Dominant in the VR (and AR) Space" instantly.
