I can guarantee you that he was getting anonymous cowards on the internet telling him he should die, he should be raped, his child should die, his child should be raped, etc. I am not saying everybody who wrote to him did that, but some did, and those people should be referred to as animals. There are people on the internet who really lose control and spew the most incomprehensible, vitriolic venom. You don't have to like or agree with what he said, but he didn't deserve the worst ...
I was very sad that this wasn't going to be on PS4. Its a nice exclusive for XB1, and once Watchdogs got cancelled, was the game I considered the best from either launch lineup. But not enough to make me go with the XB1 over PS4.
Then my wife said "Why not get both systems?" last weekend, and I said "Oh my arm! Its being twisted!", but now I can get DR3. Looks like a lot of fun.
@badz who said "can I, you know, go some place else, like a relatives' or friends' houses and use the Wii U tablet to resume my games? aww...it's limited to a certain range only? not wifi enabled? so shut up! "
You don't know how well it will work over wifi yet. I am not getting my hopes up. In the PS4 FAQ itself, they HIGHLY recommend you use remote play over your home network. Although it can function over wifi, I would definitely expect some...
Overall, I like this setlist much better than Rocksmith 2014's on disc setlist. I do have a few of those songs already as DLC from the original Rocksmith. I'll probably pick this game up at some point, but I'll wait for reviews and word of mouth on how good the Band FUse system works.
Like Lowsnamebrand, I care, but it isn't a deal breaker. The only time I use mp3s on my gaming console is when I play racing games. I generally don't like the soundtracks included, and would rather listen to the songs I like, mixed with the ingame audio of voices and sound fx. I think it is definitely a step back not including the functionality of mp3s in the console, but it won't stop me from buying the PS4. Just disappointed.
By definition, I would consider hack and slash to require a blade of some sort. On that alone, Batman cannot be hack and slash, but Ryse can be.
Personally, when E3 rolled around, I wasn't sure which console I was going to get, so I preordered both, and figured I would cancel the preorder for the one I didn't want. I decided several months ago to go with PS4 because that system appealed to me more. But I haven't been a fanboy, and acknowledged that there were some things on XB1 that were appealing. So up until last week, I was planning on selling the XB1 or cancelling the preorder alltogether. Then, this weekend, my wi...
I was planning on doing the same, but the target sale is too good to pass up. I'll get AC4, Need for Speed, and Lego Marvel (for my son).
Incidentally, (unless my memory is completely playing tricks on me) the Atari 2600 came with Combat, which had a whole mess of different games in it.
That tweet doesn't say Journey and Unfinished Swan aren't coming to PS4. What kind of crazy logic is that!? All it says is he was playing them on the PS3.
They might come to PS4, they might not. I have no idea one way or the other. But how the author came to the conclusion that they weren't based on the tweet is a total mystery to me.
That is the one I plan to get.
Of course it supports remote play. Remote play is hardware based. The only issue for remote play is controls, so developers have to map the controls to the vita (which cannot be done with the camera). Other than some issue like that, all of the games will support remote play.
Titanfall has a campaign. You just happen to be playing multiplayer throughout the campaign.
Even though I told my son we are getting a PS4, he told me he wants an Xbox One. I have a pre-order in for both, but I was planning on either selling the preorder of the XB1 on Ebay or just cancelling it, but out of nowhere this weekend, my wife said maybe we should just keep both (the PS4 is for my birthday in a couple of weeks, and she said we could keep the XB1 as a family Christmas present). I'll wait until Christmas to open it though. I want to see if there are issues with it or not...
For the record, Microsoft's marketing for Xbox One includes "Games are games are games" meaning they are not distinguishing between AAA releases, what would have been XBLA games, and indie games.
The Witness and Galak-Z are more important to me than any of the launch AAA disc games, although I don't think either of them will be out before Christmas.
The exclusives that I am tracking and plan on purchasing unless something changes:
The Witness (so far not announced as XB1, but you never know)
Infamous Second Son
The Order: 1886
Deep Down
Galak-Z
Everyone has Gone to the Rapture
Rime
Octodad
Shadow of the Beast
The games I am interested in:
The Witness
The order:1886
Deep Down
Infamous: Second Son
DriveClub
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
Shadow of the Beast
Rime
And they didn't even mention Galak-Z
@positiveEmotions,
I have used my Vita on a plane and plenty of other places. Just not for remote play.
I am not saying it is impossible, and am open to being pleasantly surprised. I just wouldn't expect it.
The problem is, they never really explained how the sharing worked. There are a lot of assumptions, but we never got the specific answers. If they had offered the digital sharing and they had SPECIFIED sevral things, I probably would have gone with th3 Xbox One instead of the PS4, but was going to go PS4 unless the following were SPECIFICALLY answered (they never were):
What are the rules/eligibility requirements to be put on a sharing plan?
Can someone be ...
I wouldn't count on that. I am expecting it to be very laggy over wifi and not really playable. They HIGHLY recommend you use it in your own home network, and there is a reason for that. There will most likely be too much latency on an airplane for gaming to work properly.
The downside to that is, my wife and son can't use remote play on their accounts. My Vita only has an account for me. I think that is a big drawback for the vita that you can only have one PSN account on it.
Unless there is something I am missing.
