Bought it on sale a few months ago for my vita. It is probably my favorite game I've had for it. Very will done. You won't be disappointed, Europe!
Well said!
I hope they explain their plans for Gaikai and how remote play works over the internet, those are my biggest questions. I am also curious about what apps will be on the system, functionality of the camera, how much editing we can do on our shared videos, and other smaller questions, but those are secondary for me.
@stevehyphen
It says "The PS4 just whipped your a$$"
Anyone know the setlist for this game? The website only lists 19 songs, and I am pretty sure there are more than that. It doesn't list Wicked Sensation from the Lynch Mob, and I thought that was in the game (George Lynch is one of the artists on the project and I saw a picture of that song in the game at some point)
Can we make a deal that the only people who can complain about the apps behind paywall are people who don't or won't subscribe to PS+? If you are subscribing to PS+ (or gold for the multiplayer) then what difference does it make what is behind the gold wall?
I am getting a PS4 and paying for PS+, so I really don't care what is behind the gold paywall. It really feels irrelevant, since I am paying to be behind the paywall anyways.
This is a true must own for me. Braid was in my top 5 favorite games of this gen, and I fully expect this to be a fantastic game as well.
For the record, he didn't say the games aren't the priority for Xbox One. He said they are giving the impression that games aren't the priority. He is talking about how core gamers are looking at the two systems, not what he thinks the two systems are actually doing. I think both sides of the people in this argument are overstating what he actually said.
Of course, having a headline that misstates what he said doesn't help, either.
They only listed 3 questions:
Will North America get a free game on day one like Europe does with Fifa? The answer is Heck no. If they were, it would be announced by now, plus they know North America is in their pocket. The Day One launch editions will sell out either way, so they won't bother. It does suck that Microsoft won't come out and admit that there won't be a free game for NA.
What apps will be available at launch? I guess it is ...
I am assuming they mean current gen only, and aren't counting games that are released in both gens.
Let's wait until Dark Souls 2 comes out before we make that decision.
I have to disagree with you on your first point. First and foremost, there are plenty of people switching from Xbox 360 to PS4 (myself included) who have not played those games so just because you have them doesn't mean we all haven't (at least in terms of Flower, Flow, Soundshapes etc.) Second, they said if you already own them, you get them for free, so if you have them already, you don't have to buy them, you get them. There is no downside for that!
I agree ...
I am buying a PS4, and not an Xbox 1, but I still have concerns and they weren't even mentioned in this article.
1) Gaikai: How will it be implemented when it comes out (charge structure and available games)? Will it even work properly or will there be too much latency for games to be playable?
2) Remote Play: I expect it to work fine over my home network, but will it work over the internet?
3) Lack of games in 2013: The delay of Watc...
Relax. Release date on Amazon is just a place holder.
For me, I could not care less about the blue tooth headset or capture card.
The real biggest unanswered questions for the PS4 are related to Gaikai. 1) What will the service charge? 2) How well will the service work over the internet? 3) What games will be available and when?
I am not buying an Xbox One right now, but their unanswered questions were a little more in line with what I wondered about. But my biggest unanswered questions were all related to the...
It is coming to IOS as well.
Article isn't loading for me either, but when I read the title, I assumed it meant that if you have digital content that is available on the PS3, and that same digital content was available for PS4, you might be able to use it for free, not that digital PS3 content itself works on PS4.
Strongly disappointed (although I would still prefer delays to getting a broken game shipped to me). My plan was to buy Watch Dogs, and get Drive Club for free, buy contrast, not buy Resogun (which had not been confirmed as PS+ NA apparently until last night), and buy Octodad.
Assuming I still buy the PS4 now, I would wait for a buy 2 get 1 free sale somewhere and get AC4 or Killzone (with Batman and Rocksmith 2014 for my 360 as the other 2 games), free Contrast and Resogu...
It was. The add was created before the announcement.
They said "But if you strip out the cross-gen non-exclusives (e.g. Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV)....the PS4 will be a cool slanty box with a great controller and lot of potential, but not all that many games."
Why am I taking out games from the launch lineup? Those are important games for the launch lineup, and I don't think it is reasonable to just base a launch lineup on the exclusives.
