If the end of June/ July is a busy block, then I think the only non-busy blocks are December and January at this point. From February of this year to now was probably bigger and better than August through November last year. It has been absolutely ridiculous how many big games there have been for a Spring.
For $3.00, I picked it up. It won't break my bank, even if it is awful, but it looks like it could be fun (also picked up Rebel Galaxy, which looks pretty cool)

Yes. It actually has 3 storylines, based on your hub, and trying to restore order. There is a tech storyline, a medical storyline, and a security storyline. Each part of the hub can be upgraded by doing their story missions. I recall reading that once all of the hubs are upgraded there is a final mission or set of missions. Personally, I have enough renown to unlock one of the DLC operators already, even though I already unlocked all of the current operators and bought them all upgraded weapons. If you want the operators you can buy the pass or play the game a lot. Personally, I bought the pass because I got a fantastic deal where I got the gold version on release day for $45. I am in the alpha and am under a strict NDA, so there are several things I cannot talk about. However, it is public information that you can play solo or in a group of up to 4 people. Just like Destiny, you can go solo or co-op with a small team.
I got The Order for $20 back in April, and I thought it was perfectly fine. I wouldn't remotely call it GOTY, nor would I call it one of the worst games of the year. Yeah. I am not as good as many others in terms of marksmanship, so I am rarely high on the kills list, but this game actually does reward you for doing actions other than just killing. I am rarely at the last position when matches are done, even though I may have less kills. I had never heard of Orphan or Prey for the Gods, but they look interesting, and I will keep an eye out for them as well.
I have it, and I absolutely love it. I haven't experienced any significant issues with the server, and generally speaking, I only play single player games, because I just am not good enough at twitch/style game play required in some of the other shooters. But this game really has me. It is just a lot of fun.
Breaking Bad is another of my all-time favorite shows, and I would say the quality is just as high, although the subject matter is obviously very different. The show is a mid-evil fantasy about a group of individuals/families who all believe they have a claim to be the king of the land of Westeros. No one is purely good or purely evil, but mostly all are plotting, and there are tons of twists and turns you won't see coming.
You would be able to understand just about everything without seeing the show, so you would probably still enjoy it. The main characters in the game are not even in the show, so it would be relatively easy to follow. The show would let you know a lot more about the motivations and histories of all the side characters you interact with. I got the disc version for 30$ at Amazon Wednesday. That can be traded back in when I am done with it. Looking forward to trying it. I never had a PS3, so I've never played Uncharted before.
This weekend had free on-demand plays all weekend. That was the only time use on-demand plays. Generally, I just keep it on a channel and play what appears. It is a lot of fun. As long as the guitar works, it is a lot of fun.
In this particular case, this was not a retailer decision. This was from the game publisher, and they put out the news themselves. Every retailer dropped the price, and even the digital price also dropped. Gearbox at the time called it a one week price drop and had their own graphic for the promotion.
For me at least, Best Buy refunded the difference, so it doesn't bother me, but I don't think they did their fans right overall.
