I tweeted to Shue today, after reading this. It happens to me every time in Assassin's Creed IV. I tried to share my killing of the White Whale, and it saved video from well before. However, I figured out a workaround. If I hit share early in my session, the early part still isn't right, but future recordings do work correctly. I was able to properly record and share taking down one of the legendary ships today, after earlier hitting the share and seemingly clearing the bug.

How would one go about typing in a QR code in 4 seconds? or at all?

I've got the PS4 and the XB1. Other than Powerstar Golf, the other 5 they mentioned were the 5 retail releases I have bought, so we are basically on the same page. Got AC IV, Need for Speed, and Lego Marvel for PS4 and got DR3 and Ryse for XB1.

The headline comes awfully close to "We are really proud of our humility" which is a terrific oxymoron.

I am looking forward to playing it, but I know my wife won't touch it, and my 9 year old son won't be allowed to play it either. This will be the first PS+ game for PS4 that the rest of my family won't even try. But I am excited for it.

Didn't they announce at E3 that Outlast would be one of the free PS4 PS+ games? I have always expected that it would be free. I thought they said Don't Starve, Outlast, and Binding of Isaac (I think Binding was the third one they said at the show, but my memory is hazy on the third).

So it should be both regions getting outlast, and we should both get Drive Club PS+ version when it releases, too.

Braid was in my top 3 favorite games of last gen, making the Witness a day one must buy for me.

He tweeted within the last month about Microsoft (paraphrasing here) that his experience with Microsoft was horrible, although others have had it worse than he did. Thanks for the info. My PS4 says my download speed is 29.6 MBPS and my upload speed is 1.5 Mbps.

I just tested my laptop wirelessly (my PS4 is wired), and my laptop over the same router wirelessly reported 40 MBPS download and 20 MBPS upload. Last time I tried it wired it said 60 MBPS dpwnload and 30 MBPS upload.

So my PS4 is definitely reporting lower numbers than my laptop does.

Where can we see our connection speed in the PS4? I can check, if I knew.

For the record, Major Nelson readily admitted that he had a PS3, and on last week's Podcast, he said he had a PS4, but hadn't had a chance to use it (Anyone that has followed his schedule would know he wouldn't have had a chance yet.)

I have an Xbox One, but haven't opened it yet. It is a Christmas present for my family, so I haven't tested it. However, it says right on XBox.com itself and has been discussed many times that Xbox One uses 'Home Gold'.

WRONG. You only need one account for gold on the XB1. The 360 needed gold on every account. The XB1 works very similar to PS4 with live/PS+ where one account covers every user on the system.

I really don't care about apps behind the paywall. If you have a PS4, you should pay for PS+. If you have an XB1, you should pay for gold. If you don't want to pay for the services, then don't do it. But all of that is besides the point, since the box has those apps available and this is an article about why it isn't an all-in-one system. Having those apps available, whether you choose to pay to use them or not, means the box can do them.

Binding of Isaac hasn't hit my radar at at all. I'll have to look it up and get some info.

I think Contrast is up and down...like the story and the feel, and the switch between living world and shadows, but the camera doesn't work well, and the bugs really hurt it.

Three months ago, I would have said I wanted Contrast over Resogun, but after playing them, Resogun is tremendously tremendous, and definitely the must get of the two PS+ games. Galak-Z was the space shooter I was interested in, but it is going to have a tough bill to live up to after Resogun.

For Resogun, all I can tell you is I asked an interviewer who was talking with Housemarque to specify if Resogun would be free in North America, because it was only announced for Europe. The interviewer did ask, and the response he received was, we have no announcement for North America. It was never officially confirmed for North America until the announcement of the Drive Club delay.
