The symbol is one of hatred and suffering. It doesn't matter what else it represents, its primary meaning is of the most awful tragedy the world has ever seen, an awful pointless war, and the genocide of millions of Jews. Its tasteless. Period.
I don't exactly look up to Mario. He's been in over 200 games, and I still don't know anything about him except that he's a plumber and has a crush on peach. Its one thing to say his games are good (they are) but to compare him to say... Lance Armstrong or Abraham Lincoln is a little much.
I can give you Afrika, Heavy Rain, 8 Days, Valkyrie, Yakuza, Wardevil, Wipeout, and a few others, but the rest of that list of games haven't been confirmed (Dark Cloud 3, Steambot Chronicles) confirmed exclusive (LA Noire) are PSN games/ niche games (disgaea, mist of chaos), or we haven't even seen any footage of (Ni-Oh, Angel Rings).
Its still an impressive list, but it is definitely misleading. Would you mind consolidating it to list more of the big games and put less filler ...
Free Radical isn't well known, but they have a pretty sweet resume. Their most prominent memebers worked on Goldeneye and Perfect Dark for the 64, and there is no console series out there with faster paced action or multiplayer options than timesplitters.
When was the last time you heard anything about COD2? CoD4 is on everyone's lips now, but CoD2 is old news. Game of the year? maybe, but its completely forgetable compared with God of War, Civ 4, San Adreas, and Resident Evil 4, as well as the original Guitar Hero.

I don't think you understand how different the ps3 and 360 demographic is. I can definitely understand where you'd be coming from if we were talking about wrpgs, but no one in the United States buys the niche jrpg. Besides big name games like FF, the market for the smaller rpgs is insignificant in the United States. In Japan, where they buy these rpgs up, the 360 is dead in the water.
Yeah, I agree with you on that. Its really surprising at how crummy these 360 rpgs have been selling, and for some reason they're all coming out in waves. Maybe MS paid for exclusivity? I can atleast see ps2 rpg developers moving to the wii, but why on earth make jrpgs for the 360?

Anything is possible, but gamestop very rarely has release dates before official ones are posted.
Gamespot makes a killing off pre-orders remember? They just post dates for games to make people try to pre-order them, even if not the official confirmation is out. There are a few games, like MGS, and more recent titles with official dates, but otherwise, disregard anything you see there.
Its too soon for tier lists like this. His fails especially, because some of the characters that are almost a shoe-in for upper tiers, like Toon Link, Olimar and Wolf were ranked badly.
Ofcourse there is a possibility that all characters are balanced perfectly, but I feel like its too hard to say ALL the characters are equal.

I've been a big Armored Core fan since the beginning, but it seems like the last few installments have come out of nowhere every six months, and the first time I usually see them, they're already in the bargain bins. I wish they would just stop playing the EA game, and put more effort into making a quality AC that reinvents the same old series. The concept is incredible, but its getting a little stale.
Its too bad none of these games are recent. I wonder if they're going to update this from time to time?
