@masterfox It's been about ~40 days since they acquired Zenimax... maybe give them some time? Obviously they will have things to share at E3.
@Zhipp There were insider rumors going around that MS were talking to Ubisoft to strike a similar deal to that of EA Play and would announce at E3 / later this year, and also that a 'AAA third party FPS game' is coming to GP Day 1 in Holiday 2021... so that would suggest COD or BF, and it obviously won't be COD since they have a PS marketing deal.
I guess we'll see - either or both of those would make for a huge E3 bombshell announcement.
I didn't say it isn't a game changer - it is - but only for <= 3% of gamers...
If they're over 23 mil by now, I expect them to get to 30mil by EOY without Battlefield or Ubisoft. BF and Ubisoft would likely put them way over 30m.

And yet we still can’t play our MGS4 disks via back compat in official Sony hardware because emulating the CELL is too hard for a multi billion dollar company with some of the best engineers.

Seems likely - we haven’t seen an update in a while on numbers (unless I missed it?) - so they’re probably in the 20’s now and Halo is going to be huge.

Good week for the switch. At this point we are just seeing Sony and Microsoft sell whatever they can produce in that window, so not really true/comparable numbers yet until supply outstrips demand.
Once all the manufacturing issues are gone, it will be interesting to see how the new consoles really stack up against the Switch.
They’re talking about it in terms of environment, characters, gameplay - things that everyone experiences.
Adding PSVR support is only going to benefit a tiny percentage of players.

Ignoring the fact that Xbox obviously has software sales (judging by their earnings) and exclusive games - no logical person would argue the opposite.
This isn't how businesses work. Gamepass was created to boost revenue. Sony/MS/Nintendo could sell 1 trillion consoles and make 100 trillion in revenue, they would still be looking for ways to increase that reve...

Bit of a weird headline when there's only a couple of PS5 exclusives, and none are 'scary' games.
We've been hearing "Wait for game X to get VR and everyone will have to jump in!" for years now, and VR is still not taking off.
Those games would be good VR experiences - but 99% of gamers will still just play the game 'normally'.
