I decided to boot up Far Cry 2 and 3 on PC today on the max settings and the downgrades started with 3. You could still shoot apart certain types of vegetation but many of the other features were already gone by that point.
Enemies don't respawn in Dark Souls unless you die or rest at a bonfire. In Far Cry 2 you can be attacked by respawning enemies while walking out of a recently cleared camp.
Why would they be interested in it? Games like Monster Hunter World are PS4 exclusive in Japan.
No, but some people would probably be interested in one if they did it. I like physical games and really only use consoles for exclusives, there's no way Sony could justify giving all their first party games away at launch on a Playstation Game Pass service.
The problem is there's less push for a 360 emulator because many of its games were already on the PC. An Xbox One emulator will never happen because of this.
We don't need to do anything, Ubisoft has already outlined their plans to turn games into live services.
I game at 4K on the PC with my 1080Ti and I too would rather see a push for more physics, world interaction, etc. Sad to say that on PS4/Xbox One, GTA V, a 7th gen port, remains one of the most interactive games on both platforms. A few exclusives like Knack II have toyed around with complex GPU accelerated physics but it's an outlier.
If you need a Tomb Raider reboot sequel to bring back your love for single player games you're already lost.
I'll go PC and Nintendo exclusively if Sony drops discs next-gen.
The best way to play this remains on PC at 4K60 with nightmare visual settings.
The most offensive thing about Far Cry 5 is that it's the exact same game that Ubisoft has been making since Far Cry 3.
Yes please
I own more than 50 physical current gen games and have every current gen console, as well as a gaming PC.
This sequel only exists due to a kickstarter and everything that has been released so far is demonstrative of a game nowhere near completion. It will be a huge surprise if this game is ever finished properly. PS4 owners would be better served buying Yakuza 6 and not pinning their hopes on a kickstarter that can't even settle on what models will be in the final game....
Oh yeah? How many copies has it sold?
I have a hard time getting excited for a new Shenmue in a world where Yakuza exists. I actually played the original on the Dreamcast when it came out but that was almost 20 years ago. The things people were impressed with back then are commonplace in games now.
Kinda ridiculous given the game only came out in late 2013.
I really doubt it after the success of the PS4 and failure of the Vita. I think Sony is far more likely to invest any resources that would go into the Vita's successor into the PS5 instead.
I have the regular edition which got the free update. I played it before and after the update. I disagree with the hidden gem label.
We heard the same thing about PUBG before release, I won't hold my breath.
Yeah I'm not saying Far Cry 2 is the best in the series or anything, just that some of these things were already removed long before 5. 3 does hold up a lot better visually, on max settings it honestly passes for a current-gen game.
